Any idea what environment overhaul or enb that CaptainBlip used in the user images? I think making a whole cartoon style enb/shaders would be awesome with more weapons like this to go with it too, but there's not a lot of enbs or shaders like that.
I wonder if there is a way to make it lore friendly.. or atleast give it some reason to have such a high dmg.
Maybe something like: The sword was an old kids toy, sometime after the bombs dropped a father (or a used-to-be father) found this toy sword that belonged to his son. He took it and kept it. After a while, maybe a few years, he began sharpening it and recolored it, because rubbing it on a stone proberbly scratches the paint. During a fight against some raiders, he threw his sword at them, but it got stuck the stone and died.
It could do with being better hidden, maybe in somebody's house in concord or something. As for the damage, I agree. I tried to make it not useless like the Chinese officer sword, but maybe 24 is too high. I'll probably rebalance it to like 18-22 later.
Yea, It probably is a little high of a, im gussing, plastic sword. Still it's a nice model and looks good, if you hide it at a diffrent place, why not use that as a backstory? Heh.
Adventure time stuff already is sorta lore friendly , you could always rationalize that the candy kingdom is on a different part of the planet. The nuclear post apocalyptic part of the plot would fit really well. gonna download this once I get home
If I do end up doing any re-balances, it'd be in an optional mod. Tbh I only made this sword for shits and giggles to practice importing items to the game, so don't expect any serious changes any time soon.
Wow, first time being the very first endorsement for something. This definitely deserves it. The texture looks especially good. I hope you do a few more Adventure Time models--maybe a BMO that works as a radio?
