Is the skin added like the Creation Club DLC, or does it overwrite the default Pip-Boy? If it does overwrite, is there a way I could edit the CC DLC and overwrite one with this? It looks absolutely gorgeous, and I love how you included options to add more Fallout based stickers to it.
Hey, there's a framework in the vanilla game that allows pip boy skin changing in game at the armor workbench. You should update this mod so you can have every single one of these skins in one game!
Ohdamn, I completely forgot about this mod; yeah I actually asked the mod author for permission to make it compatible a long time ago, so I'll do that very soon!
I like this mod a lot. probably my favorite pip boy re-texture out of all of them. but I only have a few requests. for one, if you could make an 8k version perhaps? and also if you plan on updating the akira version, would you consider replacing the vw sticker with the yellowish version shown in the anime? just a minor thought. all that besides, this is awesome.
Heya, love this mod as I am a fan of Akira. Anyway, I am not sure if you have heard but there's a new mod that just came out that is called the Pip-boy Customisation Framework. I think you might want to make your pip-boy compatible with that mod - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17012/
Btw, for those who want the DIY but don't have the patience to download photoshop, there is a DDS plugin for Gimp. It works fine but I can't figure out the correct way to export the new DDS file. I've try several options, but I'm not able to get the texture file right. Anyway, It worth the try, and if somebody comes up with the good set of options to export properly, I would like to know.
Hey I installed the plugin and under my photoshop plug-ins file it shows dds,8bi but when i try to open the pipboy01_d.dds it says it is the wrong formant and doesnt open, any help please?
I've been customizing this for a few hours now, really really like what you had to begin with and it actually got me motivated to learn how to mess with textures. Question though, why did you leave the Pill sticker out? It's literally the "Akira" sticker. XD Anyways, thanks SO much for this mod!
Because the pill is on the back of his jumpsuit, not the bike. Also, compositionally, there's less detail per square inch of the whole design and it would create an unintended focal point - just some personal graphic design preference on my part as well. I did try to put it on in one of the iterations, but I didn't like how it looked. It doesn't stop anyone else from editing it on themselves though.
