Sorry for the super late reply, but to answer your question I believe I only modified the one ring ring to utilize an unused body slot. so you can still equip your spouse's ring and while wearing any other ring.
Great idea for a mod, thanks a ton. At the start of the game I was thinking I would probably have put her ring on, if it were me... As it is I just keep it in a safe. But especially with the lover's rings mod, I thought it would be great to be able to wear both. So thanks for this. I had a thought that might save your trouble with showing them both- maybe just edit the models for each so they appear as a double ring? I.e., you're wearing them both on the same finger. (If you can make an automated turret and new receivers for rifles on a bench out of scrap metal, surely you can resize a ring! :) ) Just a thought. Thanks again.
solid idea, i would prefer the 2nd ring to show up on the other hand, but that would be a good way to get around it and still worth it, whether the same hand / finger or on opposite hands or different fingers, i just wanna wear my dead wifes ring with mine and see them both whenever i draw my gun to shoot down an Institute Courser etc. lol, well when wearing clothes with open hands / no gloves, as thats the type of playthrough i did with my 1st char (basically a straight up legit what you would do kinda thing is how i do the 1st playthrough)

Ha, glad you found it, hope you try it out and like it too. This mod and wanting to make what I described helped get me to try making my own mods, really. (Along with wanting backpacks and holstered weapons for them.) I bet it could work on opposite hands like you described, too, good idea. Maybe something to try sometime as an optional variation. I meant to include an under-glove (invisible) option too, maybe I can try those ideas when I get some time to tinker again. Still very grateful for this mod. Actually I credited it on my mod page, it really was inspirational.
unless you create 2 separate NIF files for the rings and position them differently it is likely impossible through frontal edits. it might be possible to do it via script by mirroring the model but idk anything about fallout 4 scripting or model importing. my last attempts at a sci-fi cloak (nano tech cloak) resulted in headaches, dwindled spirits and a whole lot of head scratching
yeah I've all but given up on getting the other ring to show up i just can't seem to wrap my head around making clothes, i watched some tutorials and what not but i just cant seem to get it right.
I am currently using TheKite's Charred Vault Suit and modified it myself to have the "Severed Arm" option for the left arm as well and a magically floating ring in first person is kind of strange, but making it switch "positions" from the left hand to the right shouldn't be that much work.

Interesting...it is a prop mesh without any bone weights etc after loading it into 3D Studio Max. I am going to take a deeper look at the Fallout 4 ESM.

I have come across an issue, where the rings look rather broken due to how the niftools for 3ds max seem to export the mesh. Might be, because it is so small compared to other meshes. I am still looking for a way around.

I'm not familiar with that mod unfortunately, however i did checkout the mod page and unfortunately it's not compatible with mine because one would overwrite the other completely, I would need to make a compatible version.
Edit- I added a compatible version of WBR for the base version of FWR.
I was thinking of Making a Mod that included this feature, but seeing as you already did it, I guess that is more Kudos for you -And you have my Endorsement for sure, great minds thing alike- and less work for me (I in fact was also trying to edit the Ring Mesh to make a Customizable Ring only to find there is none). Then that got me thinking, "Ring comes off if anything that takes the same slot is equipped" and that is when I thought of FNV Items like PedoMeter that allowed you control the Sprint Mod in FNV. So 2 and 2 together just now, I thought maybe if I could make an Item that can allows Items to Appear on Body by Choose -Both Armor, Hat Conceal w/Seeable Rings, Pip Skin Changer-, Equip Multiple and Stay Equipped without using Armor Slots...even go as far as to Stretch something in-game.
But I was wondering if you allow Crafting to change the Slot or Give an Item a List of Available Slot so If 1 Slot is taken it uses the next one available.
First off thank you for the kind words, I'm glad you approve of the mod. Secondly I have done nothing with crafting, as it didn't seem necessary. All I did really was change the slot for your spouses ring to slot 59, which is labeled as Shield, though there are non in this game, nor are there any meaningful objects that use that slot. As for a list of available slots, it doesn't seem to be to useful in this situation, since the rest of the slot are filled by things like armor or clothes. However if someone were to make a new skeleton with more slots like they did for skyrim, then that change things.
I am thinking of updating my mod to remove some of the requirements, but that wont be for at least a couple more weeks as my hand is currently in a cast. But if you have any ideas on how i might improve the mod please LET ME KNOW.

Really You can't see either of them? That's not supposed to happen. you should still be able to the original ring. as for the other one, I cant seem to get it to show up i think it has something to do with armor slot.
Unfortunately you are going to have to live with it for a while, as my graphics card just died on me this morning, so im going to see if i can get it RMA'ed, so i cant currently boot up the game to troubleshoot it. on top of that I broke my hand A couple weeks ago, and being uninsured in Florida is being a major pain to get treatment at an orthopedic, the hospitals around here cant do anything for me, other than take an x-ray and refer me to places who wont even see unless i can pay them about $1000 upfront. and if there are additional costs I have to pay that upfront too.
sadly its being weird on me its not letting me equip both rings at same time and sadly some reason according to fo4edit its showing conflicts in regards to both armorkeywords and armorsmith extended its not showing any conflicts in regards to me having functionalrings enabled to i doubt its that
so ya not sure how i should go about fixing the conflicts with armorkeywords and armorsmith extended any help greatly appreciated
Thats very odd, I have latest versions of both mods and see no conflicts with mine. Are you sure it's not another mod causing the conflict. First try putting this mod at the end of your load order, and see if the problem still exists. if it does please post you mod list for me to see.
