Unfortunately I encountered a issue with one of my characters. It is missing the "Switch" item that is supposed to appear under apparel. This was just a recently created character.

Found my answer while reading the posts. Apparently the item disappears after you leave cryostasis when you create a new character. Added the items via console.
Anyway you could just post the item's ID? I type the help thing exactly as you show, (an MANY variations as I could think of) and NOTHING comes up. It's just blank. It doesn't even say it couldn't find anything like when I leave the brakets off. This mod needs to be remade so the item isn't given to you until AFTER the opening scene.
We are in the same situation, create a way to change ammunition but the object that changes them is not present ... I have tried everywhere and in every way and there is no written by anyone this damn ID even the author does not has not even written in the description an additional help please ???
The ID that I got after finding it using the console was 15001f00. So to spawn it you word it like player.additem 15001f00. Then it should be given to you.
Hi I like the idea, while its technically pretty simple there is some room for improvement:
First your switch script seams to have some oversights and massive code duplication, I rewrote it reducing it's size from about 500lines of code to 75, I have also added a way to register foreign ammo types and renamed the scripts to use the namespace feature to move them inside their own folder, btw. I've add many "const"s to your properties and scripts so the wont dig into saves.
I've removed any edit to vanilla leveled items and added them by script, to block incompatibilities to other mods.
There seams to be a bug where the ammo change doesn't work, if you have a stacked weapon(at least 2 weapons of exactly the same type) e.g. 2 basic 10mm guns the ammo changing mods aren't properly applied.
If you are interested in this cleaned version PM me, or you could give me the permission to upload this modified version as a new file.
it doesn't work for energy weapons, it wont change my fusion cells EDIT: doesn't work with the laser pistol/rifle, and the institute versions nor does it work with the 10mm pistol please work on it likely other weapons as well
