Is there a non-replacer version? I'd kinda like to have uniforms for multiple branches available in-game, instead of being stuck with just one.

Good job on the re-texture. I really like the way the lettering came out so clear and sharp.

I'm not sure if you are considering variations (if not, then just disregard this request), but in the Fallout game, USAF stands for United States Armed Forces, since by that point in Fallout history, all branches of the U.S. military had merged into one. Would it be possible to get a version with the same back (the USAF lettering), but change the front label to read U.S. Armed Forces? I realize the lettering would have to be smaller, since there are more letters.

Either way, thanks again for creating and offering your mod.

I am not a Fallout lore expert (this is the first Fallout game I am really getting into), but I wouldn't make the assumption that they all had merged into one. In Fallout 4 alone, there is a United States Air Force satellite POI as well as at least two US Army installations (Fort Hagen and Fort Strong) that have the US Army insignia and garrison signs that you would normally see approaching an Army post.

On another note, the title of the mod should be USAF Military fatigues or something to that affect. The actual uniform designation is the M1951 Uniform. This nomenclature would have been for all the branches. There is no need to use two different service's name in the mod title, it is redundant, inaccurate, and unnecessary.

      Just my two cents.

      The uniform looks great.

I changed the title since you really did point out a redundancy. Thanks for commenting, I really appreciate it!

I collect a bunch of actual military US uniforms, mainly for WWII re-enacting, but I got shirts and jackets from the 40s to 70s: M41, M45, M51, M65... Love retro stuff!

Anyways, when the GECK or Creation Kit or whatever comes out, I'll be trying to reproduce 1950s military uniforms in simple little re-textures like this one. I think it'll add some nice flare. Maybe re-texture some WWII helmets to match, or berets? I dunno, we'll see!

      First; great work.

Second, I wore that uniform from 1972-78 and it brings back a lot of memories.

Third, this is the first time I have ever been called "retro."

Fourth; I think I am going to crawl over here and just die now... Lord, lord, I am so old...

I think Bethesda did not do any justice to the beret they included in vanilla. The mesh needs to be redone to make the beret cover more of the right eye and hang lower to the ear. The current version looks like a kid who just got out of basic training.

@hollandross They are all merged into one actual force with the different branches technically still existing. i.e. It's the U.S Armed Forces Air Force. Kinda like how it was the Army Air Forces in WWII.

neato. Any chance of a sans-air force version?
