Vortex killed my CAT! Not sure if anyone else has this problem, since i installed Vortex, most of the mods i install doen't work right. catmeat made dogmeat small and when i target him it says Cat on the screen but he's still a dog...
Thank you for responding I thought by the look of the claw that it is possibly a Chinese Dragon tattoo so I will eagerly await the finish of that one and download it once it is done.
Whats the chances of having a fully functional CatMeat replacer instead? Literally all I want is instead of a dog have a cat, it was made possible in FO3 (apart from the fact CatMeat would still bark haha)
Ya, this ^. Without the GECK and animation tools, you won't see a fully functioned one for a while. Kitty is missing a lot of animations that are unique to dogs/dogmeat.
i really tried to enable the cats animations but as soon as i added the skeleton the cat would disappear from the game. so it will take some learning or someone with better experience then me to do a simple swap of the cat to a dog.
it was easier in fo3, in fo4 there are literally thousands of animations for the dog in alot of different situations. whereas the cat only has a few.

I have an Idea how to make the cat act like a dog. If you take a look in the files from Raider Dogmeat http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/383 you might make more out of it than me.
i dont know for sure but i would guess if i add the rig for the animatons to the cat it will make it move around like the spawn of satan. since it will have points of movement that i cat cant do, it will stretch the model. i'll give it a go tho, i bet it will be hilarious.
While it would be awesome if this worked as one hopes... its' best a novelty.
Downloaders should know... this house cat in the game does not have the animations needed to follow you about very well. It probably is a good way to lose dogmeat er, I mean catmeat. It MIGHT work better if one sets the cats scale at 2 via console setscale 2 or more.
But, it still will most likely have issues navigating terrain.
I wanted a cat follower too , but I settled for spawning a couple non follower cat clones at my settlements that dont have mice chasers .
