Hiya. Thanks to anyone who has downloaded and enjoyed the Vektor. I made this prior to the release of the CK, and more than anything, it was a challenge to make after making retexture and mesh-mashup mods. I never worked in a 3D program before and was fairly happy with it overall. I had a lot of plans that were ultimately dropped when I stopped playing FO4 (or any games).
I actually stopped 'playing' FO4 and was modding for a good month or so before I left. To be perfectly honest, just got fed up with trying to make things work, and ultimately just bored of the game itself.
I've come back to play the DLC and check out all the mods that've been released over the last couple years. I'll be around for a while, but don't plan on reworking mods, or releasing new ones. But who knows?!
I've opened permissions for all my mods, for everything except porting to different websites (including Beth.net).
I dont know if you still work on this or not, but the model is either too large in First person or too close to the camera. Looks like I'm holding an LMG rather than a more compact smg. Would love to see an option to change that (or a fix). Enjoy the mod elsewhere though!
I don't know if you ever held/fired a Vector IRL, but they actually look deceptively large. Not LMG large, but if you've never held one you'd be surprised at how tall and long the main body is, with some of the variants Kriss has exaggerating this, being that the receiver is all boxed in by design. Even though it is comparable to a CZ Scorpion, it looks bigger due to that design. Very chunky and squared off.
Tried the gun, Left hand holding the canon and the reload animation is not perfect , like picking an invisible mag and reloading with another invisible mag.
An old and simple tactical smg-AR from years back...and it's always part of my core weps mods. Works great for me. Nice to have early playthru, and still using it at level 90,while wearing my power armor. (Used a popular weps modification mod to upgrade the munition to 5.56 then made it heavier, etc.=renewed usefullness) So,yes, eminently workable in-game. Bugless. (for me at least.) So 'Thanks' to the author of the Vektor. Really nice work, and still works.
k so tested with all upgrades who makes it bigger :D . In free cam its a smg type weapon who are normal like real version. In first person its actualy bigger than ak from nuka world. Problem that he are kinda to big. Second problem that sights are idk how to even say, boring ? dot are to big to see true, all other are just vanilla sight and iron my guess are the best of all ( THATS A SMG NOT A SNIPER RIFLE ). Third problem. rmp < spray pattern . weapon literly jump around , idk when 10mm bullets make so much recoil ( compare to original vanilla pistol with automatic upgrade ) . so yea my favorite weapon sadly 6/10 .....
Even years on and other, technically better guns out there, this remains one of my all time favorites. Flaws and all, there is just something very enjoyable about the look and feel of it on an Institute run. If I knew anyone who would, I'd legitimately pay for someone to give it a proper animation overhaul just to improve the experience.
