I tried using NMM to just throw your files in, and I've manually downloaded and moved your files into the reshade folder. I've tried from reshade folder and in main directory and in data directory.
Each time, game loads fine, reshade overlay opens up. I type in the name of each file - sweetfx.ini, pipeline.ini, and customFX.ini - in the overlay.
Now, when it finds the file and the settiings come up, it's as if there are none programmed in. I can fool with it and it shows in game, but the toggle key shows no difference at default.
Which one of these ini/cfg files am i supposed to activate and how do I do that?
Edit: Ok, so I realized that Reshade 3.0 was released very recently, and it is completely different in file structure than 2.0. Dragging and dropping your folders in does not work, and your presets are not compatable with the shaders included in the reshade install - idk. Anyway, please update.
Can't recommend this enough, was using an enb before this and to my eyes it looks better, more realistic and suffers from none of the glitches and performance issues. Everything looks clearer, skin tones are spot on, not over saturated like most enb's and reshades.
How can I uninstall reshade? I can't find it in control panel and I don't want the notification in the corner. I decided to not use this mod, but can't get reshade to go away.
Followed all instructions, reshade compiles on game launch but no graphics difference, and effects don't toggle. Tried the all-in-one optional file drop-in, no go. Tried installing reshade manually, but the setup video doesn't even match what I have.
Sorry, guess I'll stick with ENB then, which at least just works.
Unexpectedly good reshade! It's got some of the same elements as the Stalker Lighting Reshade that I like, without the overly dark interiors that make it hard to see sometimes.
So i ran the mediator.exe, directed it to my Fallout4.exe and finished the tutorial, copied the files from your preset into my ReShade folder, launched the game, and it just doesn't load. If i delete the ReShade folder, dxgi.dll, and reshade.fx, it loads up fine. I tried copying over the full download from the optional file and had the same results. What did i do wrong?
the game doesnt load? the preset doesnt load? reshade doesnt compile correctly?
if the game doesnt load its because you installed incorrectly. if it stays on black screen during load, you have msi afterburner on, or evga precision x or some type of software like that. shut off all software except priority. like Steam, etc. if its option #2, incorrect install. same as #3.
download the reshade 1.10 or whatever it is now, and copy all files except for reshade32 into your fallout 4 folder. rename reshade64 to dxgi.dll
copy the files from this preset download into the reshade folder. play. same as description instructions. good luck this preset is awesome.
Greetings everyone. Sad news i have to tell you today. My beloved GTX 670 Graphicscard died and i am stuck with a card that can't even run skyrim in vanilla. This forces me into a unwanted moddingbreak until i am able to afford a new card. Considdering my actual "income" this will take a while This especially makes me sad cus i started a new Mod project for Skyrim and Fallout 4 (if GECK will come) to create a ultimate Weather mod, (even larger than COT. So i am still be around but cannot really fix bugs that are ingame related.
