at higher levels, gunners will be in x01 regardless of any leveled list. Maybe the mod will help low level players but at higher levels not so much. My current level is 432 and the x01s i find on gunners are mk3 - mk 4.
Very Early on This Is A very useful, However getting the X02 and X03 Power Armor's this becomes redundant after Level 150, Unless You Want to Put X01s on Display or need them for Emergency..
Nice work can you let other vendors sell xo 1 power armor pieces i think it would bee cool thanks for this mod . X-01 Mk II X-01 Mk III X-01 Mk. V X-01 Mk. IV T-51b T-51c T-60b
idea for an update make them carry 2 or 3 of each part and the t-60 as well I was looking for a mod that makes them carry more parts I have 3 suits to maintain over at my sanctuary house one for me one for piper and one for curie might look for another frame and go fetch cait
To be fair, any edits to the X-01's base values could override any other mods affecting it so I hesitate to do that... but you have to work your way through the entire wasteland to make it down there, it's not like the Drumlin Diner sells it.
I'd have preferred it being available at lvl 20 though... still trying to get that to work :\
Seeing as Atom Cats is almost in the most south area of the map, it isn't exactly easy to get there in the first place, unless you crouch walk the entire way to avoid the very high level monsters in that area, and even then you'll probably get spotted and easily destroyed.
You need some good armor to survive that area, the price may be a bit low, but there is no chance for a low level player getting there without cheating or crouching the whole way.
I know a way. Get aqua boy, and just swim over there. You are obviously vulnerable as long as you follow the river, but the moment you enter open seas it's more or less safe.
If you're still scared, bring a stealth boy or two. There are some fixed spawn ones you can get almost right off the bat.
Might run into dangerous stuff right before the garrage itself, but if so just beeline and hide in the garrage. The atom cats should be able to handle it.
Sure, but that's easily as boring as checking the store every few days and only sleeping to pass the time, since by default the atom cats do sell X-01 but only 0-1 pieces at a time.
Still, point taken. Perhaps there should be more mirelurk queens >:3
I made a level 20+ only version if you're interested, I added the set to the leveled list — VL_Vendor_PowerArmor [LVLI:00137824], instead of directly to the vendor container as you had done, but that list is only used by the Atom Cats vendor container anyway, I guess no other merchants sell power armor pieces?
I put it up on Dropbox if you want to check it out...
I didn't test it at level 20, as my current character is level 64, put I tested setting it to levels 60 and 70, and it was available when expected.
Edit: Maybe it should start appearing at level 28 instead, that looks to be when you start getting a small chance to get the pieces in vanilla
Sadly that setting doesn't seem to work, it's what I tried as a second version. My lvl 3 character can buy it even with your version, but let me know if you find a way. Thanks for trying :)
They already sell X-01 armour pieces parts at the atom cats place in vanilla FO4, though it's pretty rare and unreliable. I assume this just makes it a more reliable source?
Exactly, it used to be you'd have to show up quite a few times since they'd only have one piece (or none) at any given moment. Now they just have a full set, though making it only available once would be a good way to balance it if I can figure out how.

And trying to make it available to buy at a low level is really silly, this is high level Armour, not some pansy s#*! like Raider or T-45.
