INTRODUCTION
Thank you for downloading this mod. This manual will provide an overview into the aspects of this mod, including installation, usage and features. Please note that this mod should be downloaded from the Nexus: if not, please report any inquiries to me (dazzerfong).

FEATURES
This mod features the MK14 EBR battle rifle in the world of Fallout 4. Here is an overview of what it includes:
� A custom-made model of the weapon.
� Original weapon sounds to provide a unique firing experience.
� An extensive system of weapon mods to allow the user great flexibility.
� True physically-based textures, allowing for accurate material definition.


INSTALLATION
Extract all folders to �.Fallout 4/Data. If installed correctly, the plugin mk14.esp will be seen in your mod manager. If this is your first mod, please visit this link: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Fallout_4_Mod_Installation

ACQUIRING THE WEAPON
Press the tilde (~) button, next to your �1� key on most keyboards. Type in �help mk14 4� to view ID�s for the weapon. There should only be one weapon with a WEAP prefix: note this number down. To add the weapon, type in �player.additem xx000800 1�. If successful, a notification will show on the upper left corner.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When will you release new features for this mod?
I am not operating on a strict time frame, so I cannot answer that question.

Will you accept requests for this mod?
Most likely no. Unfortunately, time is very scarce for me, and thus most requests that do not interest me will be declined. I�m anticipating that people ask me about making an original M14, and my answer to that is no for the time being: another mod exists to sate your appetite.

Do you accept commissions?
Yes I do: however, due to copyright laws, I will only provide the model and the accompanying textures. Contact me at Nexus Forums.

Can I use parts of this mod (ie. Attachments) for my personal mod for release?
For individual models, like attachments � no.
For retextures, feel free to release them. Just credit me and link back the mod to my page, and only upload the textures.

Why is the handle of the left?
Due to animations restrictions, the bolt handle must be on the left hand side of the weapon. Please do not request a �normal� version. There will never be one until animations allow for this.

Recoil is severe! What gives?
7.62mm NATO kicks hard. If it gives you significant problems aiming, consider using a muzzle brake.

Why are there so few mods?
I�m not a fan of adding weapon mods that don�t actually change the appearance of the weapon. Mods like �hardened receiver� makes no sense to me, so I�ve decided to forgo those.

This gun isn�t lore friendly! Why choose this rifle?
Because I like how it looks. And since when has lore-friendliness stopped anyone?

Can you make a 5.56mm variant?
No: if you want 5.56mm weapons, there�s several AR-style mods. The M14 is a .308/7.62mm rifle only, and will stay that way.
