Fallout 4

Hey all!  A few people have been curious about the weather chances in True Storms, and I thought I'd post the data compared to vanilla values.

Vanilla Weather Chances
Clear 51%
Clearest Skies 13%
Foggy 6%
Radstorm 4%
Overcast 11%
Rain 6%
Misty 6%
Misty Rain 5%

True Storms Chances
Clear 33%
Clearest Skies 10%
Foggy (heavy) 5%
Foggy (light) 4%
Radstorm 6%
Radstorm Rain (heavy) 4%
Radstorm Rain (light) 4%
Overcast 9%
Rain (heavy) 4%
Rain (light) 4%
Misty 7%
Misty Rain (heavy) 4%
Misty Rain (light) 4%
Dust Storm 3%

As you can see, there is still a high chance of clear weather, but also a much higher chance of rain, partially because there are so many more rainy types of weathers.  I'm continually working on trying to balance this out and will be offering different options over time.  If you feel like it's too rainy all the time, you can grab the vanilla chances / volatility add-on that will bring these values closer to vanilla.

Stay tuned for updates, cheers!

I have timescale set to a 1/1 ratio any setting so I don't have to go a week real time before a storm ends?
I really dislike sitting someplace and waiting.
speaking of weather... this is my 6th run of fo4 and I think the bad weather guy quit o.o all I got is sun and blue skies so far.

Can you make a version that is more radstorm heavy like 25+% radstorm (any version of radstorm maybe 13% each type). Radiation storms put a lot of immersion as it would be pretty grim in a post nuke war tbh

Plausible Boston Weather has a True Storms compatible file to give you 20% Radstorms, 40% rain, and 7% dust storm based on the settings I requested below. That's 67% precipitation, and only 10% clear weather!

    Thanks for this!

I looked into how to edit your weather percentages(trying to make predominantly stormy weather), but realized I can't edit esp files without a good amount of research. If I ask super nicely, would you be able to add an option that had crappy weather percentages like the below, the goal being to have a dreary, inhospitable environment?

    Clear - 5%
    Clearest Skies- 5%
    Foggy (heavy) - 5%
    Foggy (light) - 5%
    Radstorm - 10%
    Radstorm Rain (heavy) 5%
    Radstorm Rain (light) 5%
    Overcast - 7%
    Rain (heavy) 10%
    Rain (light) 10%
    Misty - 6%
    Misty Rain (heavy) 10%
    Misty Rain (light) 10%
    Dust Storm 7%

    Pretty please?
