This mod's great, just what I was looking for. Do you think you'll ever tweak the other V.A.T.S. mods for non-V.A.T.S. users? (Mysterious Stranger, Concentrated Fire, Paralyzing Palm, Grim Reaper's Sprint).

My thoughts exactly. I found VATS to be gamebreaking overpowered in my first playthrough of FO3. I've since replaced VATS with Bullet Time as a result, so this mod is great for me. If the things you mentioned were tweaked, in an optional add-on, it'd be perfect for all non-VATS users.

That awkward moment when you see you're 4 years late to the comments.

Does the Steam GOTY version fix this?I have Ultimat Perks Pack installed, does it do the same thing?

This old mod is still suprisingly good with No_VATS and Bullet Time together. Makes being a Cyborg more than just cool-points.

    hi,

upon further inspection i found that the dmg does work.
(Method: open console, click enemy, getav health, repeat after shooting, simple arithmetic)

    Commando gives me a 5% (+/- 0,5%) Damage increase.
Gunslinger on the other hand only gives me an 10% (+/- 0,5%) increase [even though your multiplier ist set to (float) 1.15000]

I've done a series of around 20 readouts for each, and guess that in the case of "Gunslinger" the game calculates differently due to the compound crit and / or sneak crit (in my tests anyway). I'm not sure how to test / look up the change in accuarcy and crit.chance. Even though my min. spread of a gun (eg. Assault Rifle 1.5) doesn't change, i think that it should still work since the multipliers are in place.

Well that's that, hope i didn't bore you all to death and if someone knows how to get a readout on accuarcy and / or crit.chance - please drop a line.

Scratch that - see next post ...

I tried the files with and without the merged patch feature of FO3Edit and can't observe any difference. (I'm loading the perks last - and just before the merged patch)
While your perks seem sound when looked at in FO3Edit they do not alter my damage (compared shooting high level talons with the sinper) or spread (accuarcy tested visually or the displayed spread of a chosen weapon).
I don't know how to check my crit.chance % so i'm unsure about that.
So, if anyone knows what i'm doing wrong ... please answer.
I really like the idea of the perk, since i loathe VATS.
It has so many annoyances (eg. extreme lag) and is clearly still broken (eg. shooting an enclave with a laser at displayed 95% and a clear line of sight will at best do dmg every other hit, most of the time only the first shot is done and VATS goes into a rapid succession of the remaining attack-cues inflicting no dmg - again displayed 95%, clear line of sight).
I was hoping using this mod in tandem with DK-BulletTime, so i'm open to suggestions.

    Thanx,

As of patch 1.5 (or higher), the accuracy issues in VATS has *supposedly* been resolved.

That being said, this mod brings additional abilities both inside and otuside of VATS, and is a general improvement over the original perks.

Only changes that I would make (and did in my own copy of these):
    Commando: None.
Gunslinger: Reduced dmg bonus to 10%.
Sniper: Made both crit chance and accuracy set to 10%, and limited the benefit to sniper weapons and only outside VATS. This was too OP for all rifles to use at lvl 12 IMO, and when using sniper weapons, there should be incentive to use the scope over VATS I feel.

    Cheers and good job!

I was digging through my vast amounts of downloaded files and wondered what this was.

I did a google serach and figured it out.

Please add a Perks_Pack_readme.txt in the uploaded file itself.
    thanks
