After extensive testing of other mods for dark nights, I would say that LightingOverhual addon "less intense nights" is the best balanced darker nights mod available.

I really like having pitch black interiors, but the big problem I'm having is that night vision mods I've used haven't cast light on the dark at all, they just make the lights very, very bright.

Are there any night vision mods that work well with this?

I have to ask why you don't make the interiors optional like the exterior. Your interiors are ridiculously dark, pretty much every indoor area is pretty much black in any area that doesn't have light directly shining on it, and normally look weird due to said light not spreading and fading.

I'm using different mods that change the interior lights that I'm happy with and have been looking everywhere for good, dark nights and I find the ones in this mod to look great. If you make the interiors optional, I'll actually rate/kudos, but I find it unplayable currently.

If you could also do anything to make it fully compatible with the wasteland weather overhaul mod I'd give you my eternal thanks for making the one mod for FO3 that I really need.

*Edit* I found if I loaded things in the right order, my other interior mods override yours, so I get the dark nights but with lighter interiors. So, thanks after all! I still think you should make the interiors optional though. =)

Has anyone else got a bug where their Pipboy light dissapears? The activation noises accurs(Boop) but the light is just gone. I had to uninstall this Lighting Overhaul simply because i could not play in such darkness without a light.

Do you think it might have something to do with this mod, though?

Love the darker version of the exterior portion of the mod, but the interior .esp is WAY too dark, and light sources (especially with HDR on) in semi-lit interiors can look extremely weird. One of the best examples of this would be the Super-Duper mart interior. Are you planning on continuing to update this mod?

It looks good, but not enough to warrant the sharp drop in frame rate.

I think some problems are caused by this mod, so I'm gonna post it here since it has something to do with the lighting.

I'm using the less intense version and I get this bug/glitch where light sources would not light up certain floors and rarely walls.

[Viewer Discretion is advised, nude body is present in first picture]

As you can see, the first picture shows a line cutting across, I have another flare torch behind me if that helps in anyway.
Second picture pretty much shows itself...

This also happens in the wastelands where my pipboy light would not illuminate the ground but it reflects off wooden walls and normal objects. It also reflects off the dirt mounts (non-straight ground) that are usually attached to rocks which also reflect the light.

So, overall, i think there something wrong with the lighting overhaul and the floor illumination.

Hi, can I make you a petition?:
I'm using the Wasteland Weather Overhaul mod. I think this mod has more realistic colors and ambients than fellout mod, and many people use it. The only problem is that this weather overhaul mod has no dark nights, as fellout mod have. So, could you make a file for darkening nights in weather overhaul mod? I've try using both at the same time, but there are some color problems, as green clouds sometimes.
    Thanks

I like this idea. But don't you think that if there was a light in a room, that you would be able to see a little of the rest of the room instead of near pitch black? Maybe a fading effect?
