To tell you the truth, I was annoyed with the way the sniper rifle was made in the game Fallout 3, it was just disgusting to use. It's something terrible. Thanks to this mod, I can attach a sniper scope to a gun I love, even if it doesn't have a lot of damage. But I have one more resentment towards the author of the mod. Why, why didn't you make it possible to attach a round magazine to the assaualt rifle, as it was done to the Chinese assault rifle. I love assaualt rifle very much. For this reason alone, I will never approve this particular mod.
I'm able to attach the mods for the gauss rifle for other weapons, but when I go to apply them to the gauss rifle they are unable to attach. I get the you are unable to modify this weapon screen. Fortunately I was able to add the weapon via console command.
(Unless you're trying to modify the "simulation" version of the weapon. The "simulation" weapons aren't supported, as without exploits/cheats, you can't get them out of the simulation, of course.)
I've read through the main description a couple times and must have missed it, but when I try starting my game, it informs me that your mod needs the wanderer's edition mod to run it. Can you help clear this up for me? Thanks
Hey, for some reason when I attach mods to Ol' Reliable, the textures and damage revert to the non-unique variant - any idea why this is happening/how to fix it?
Kina disappointed that you recreated the lever action rifle from scratch as opposed to just utilizing the one provided in the pitt, even with the patch. I already have a mod that adds the lever action rifle from the pitt too, which makes yours even more redundant. Since its already in my game I will probably mod it to do more damage or something than the pitt one on account of being a higher caliber, but still less than Lincoln's. Also uses the Lincoln repeater icon when it should just use the more generic one from the pitt
It's easy to forget these days - or simply be unaware, I guess - that WMK was made and released before Point Lookout. (You meant Point Lookout, obviously; not The Pitt.) I obviously couldn't have known at the time that BGS were going to do the same thing I did.
I wasn't about to remove the Lever Rifle from WMK in response; I didn't want to take content away from users - and I figured that more variety is good anyway. Consider New Vegas and its three different lever rifles, in different calibres. (Four if you include the BB Gun.)
As far as I know, this sort of thing is usually caused by not having the correct RH_Ironsights patch installed, or by it not being installed properly. (I.e. a mismatch between the plugin and the meshes.)
This is most likely caused by a conflict or even a problem with another mod in and of itself. From memory, RH_Ironsights is the common cause of issues like this (when used alongside WMK). I think the compatibility patch situation for it is/was a little confusing? (I've never used it myself.)
Hello everyone, I have a problem: I downloaded the patches that allow me to mount the WMK modifications on the weapons in the DLC (I have all 5), but it doesn't allow me to mount them. What can I do?
