Is this anything like using the code:

    "setgs fvatsdistancefactor 0.00001" ?

If so, can you please list your settings here?

    Thanks!

Random question: why the statement about using older versions of MCE with this rather than 0.30? It's not clear what the reasoning is behind this statement.

Along with MCE you should concider another mod
    Called "No Auto Aim"

    I'm about to try it.
MCE an Vats at longer distances seems to work great
I can't wait to find a long range weapon to test it out yet.

I ran into the auto aim problem.
So I'll be freefire aim in Iron Sight in bullet time
on a target with that red dot sight.
I'll shoot, but then the bullet will go
at 25 degrees or more toward another target.
    It's like a 15 spread from a semi auto M4.

    LOL it's totally silly LOL
I think I bent the barrel or something
Yay I can shoot around corners with auto aim.

Thanks alot for the VATS help

(EDIT) There's 6-7 no auto aim mods.
They all work, but some of them don't
remove auto aim all the way. I ran threw
the same area testing each one an kept having
    the problem. I made a M4 Semi-Auto that fires
.320 vanilla rounds which is a bit larger than nato 7.62
It was just more easy than risking messing up calibr
in GECK right now. Semi Auto to keep the spread down
close to the pistol, but still a little spread from
the recoil, being a .320 round with more punch.
But I haven't looked at calibr rounds yet.

So anyway, Most of the no auto aims still made the
"urban assault rifle" rounds shoot to what the engine
thought I was aimed at rather than travel to the dot.
Which is where I was actually aimed. AutoAimFix1.1.esp
Is what I'm using now an seemed to work better than the
others. It's one of the sniper mods. It stops bullet
rise at greater than 30 distance, an disables the auto aim.
It seemed to work the best in that test condition.
Shooting 20-30 feet at NPC's running past a window into
a doorway where they stacked up. With the AutoAimFix1.1.esp
I was even able to pick off some elbows sticking out behind
a wall. Which were impossible shots before. None of the
auto aim mods messed up the aim or even using them all one
at a time. Which is good.

The only problem I'm seeing with this is that you still have no chance of hitting anything at a decent distance in VATS with the sniper rifle.

In fact I went into the GECK and set the base chance to hit to 100% and you still get stuff like 6% on the torso from down a block.

Use this mod in conjunction with mine :http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=161

and I give you my word you will love it

I'm not sure if it's possible to limit it to a single weapon type as I only had to change a single variable that changes the general Vats max engage distance.
