I had pretty much given up on scoped weapons until I found this.  I've spent so much time struggling with how busted aiming is in this game that it almost feels like cheating.

So I'm not 100% sure about this, initially my shots seemed to be going low - I'd aim for the head and knock the target's gun out of his hands nine times out of ten. However I've also loaded up the extended zoom mod, and now I'm wanging fuckers between the eyes from a mile away. Thanks for helping to make the sniper rifle an actual useful piece of kit.

Getting a weird bug, not sure if it's a problem with this mod, or the base game, or some conflict with a different mod.

Sometimes, when manually aiming with the sniper rifle, my bullets will fire towards a fixed point, rather than what the scope is actually aimed at. For instance, I'm aiming at an enclave camp, got the crosshairs just over an enclave soldier. Fire, but the bullet is clearly visible in the lower left of the scope and flies into the distance. Aim at nearby Enclave Officer, but the bullet travels towards the same exact spot as my first spot, despite shifting my aim. Take aim at completely different target, a turret that's a fair distance to the west of the original targets, fire, shot travels true. Fire on the enclave soldier again, bullet travels towards fixed point, hits nothing.

It's not the enemies themselves, because if I've gotten their attention and they move away from their original position the glitch stops and I can actually hit them. At the same time, if I go forwards, or if I flank the original position while maintaining my distance, the glitch will eventually stop.

I want to thank author(s) and contributors for this mod. Works great.

    EDIT:
I still wanted to see that recoil after taking a shot, so i deleted "_1stperson" folder. But now aiming is slightly off on X axis. I need to aim just a little bit to the left even on great distances.
Copying it back fix this, OFC, but i really miss that recoil

Is this compatible with the RH ironsights mod?

I'm not sure if this actually works for me.. On the plus side i do seem to be scoring more headshots, but i still think it's hitting a bit high.. I fired at the ground and the dust seemed to originate from above the crosshair at mid-high range. Its very hard to tell where I'm hitting. If I can confirm that it works then I will endorse the mod. I installed it using NMM, maybe thats the problem, although it seemed to add and install perfectly.

um for future refrence the "yards?" you refered to are actually game units. These are figured at 120 = 6 feet because we know the player character is 120 units tall roughly 6 feet. The cells that make up the wasteland are 192 ft by 192 ft, keep that in mind when dealing with your distance settings for various things.

I found that this mod created an unusual graphics glitch. Raiders firing at me bent in half so that their upper torsos were between their legs.

VATS firing with a sniper rifle did the same to me, as a result I couldn't hit anyone below my altitude or above my altitude if only their heads were showing.

I'm sure it's a glitch for a very few people, maybe it was just down to the other anims I have.

Hmmm... tried this with FWE 5 and suddenly I am hitting heads at distance easily... a little too easily? Very satisfying, but can't shake the feeling I'm 'cheating'.

What actually is changed by this mod?
