When finishing the Oasis Quest I always thought it was strange that Maple's Garb, being clothing for your body would give a Perception bonus while Poplar's hood gave a bonus to SneakSkill. That just doesn't make any sense. It's easy to see how headgear can help Perception. I mean, this happens even in the real world. And it's understandable to see how camouflage clothing could help with the Sneak Skill.
Even the game files imply that the enchantments assigned to the gear was mis-named. Why would Mindersight affect sneak and not Perception?
Also, it should be noted that I checked this mod against the Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch and regarding the Oasis quest reward clothing abilities that patch is wrong by changing the name of the Mindersight ability to 'Maple's Garb' and changing the Minderlithe ability to "Poplar's Hood."
This rectifies those oversights that Bethesda's QA team missed (and also the UFO3P authors in this case, generally that patch is good in error correcting).
The Minderlithe ability is now correctly assigned to Maple's Garb and Mindersight ability is correctly assigned to Poplar's Hood. Thanks for your interest in correcting Fallout Lore :)
