I have a problem. I added this addon to an in progress game, I already had the base file installed & working, etc. I have the key, can get into the base, etc. but I can't open the secret door, it says it needs a key. Are there two keys?
Hi davedinox, Sorry for the late reply I have been inactive on the nexus for sometime.
I changed the mailbox that originally contained the key into a exploding mailbox, the key was then moved to the dumpster located in the junkyard. The intention was for the player to investigate the Mini Hideout after having the mailbox explode in their face. Once the player walks within the Mini Hideout hatch area a triggered event causes the car in the junkyard to explode prompting the player to investigate the junkyard and find the key.
In future releases I plan to make the key obtainable through completion of a Mini Hideout quest Initiated by a talking Nuka-Cola machine located within the vicinity of the hatch area.
