Love this mod, I can use it even in 2022, and it makes the game run smooth and look more barren indeed.
I don't know if this particular mod is causing some random crashes or not (my mod list is extensive), but I noticed that Loot says this mod has "wild edits" and is dirty. I tried cleaning the mod, but it now crashes at startup; once I disable the cleaned mod, everything is fine again. I'm reinstalling now because I like the look and FPS boost, but will be cautious if more crashes happen.
humorously enough, it kind of is. If you wanted the grass from Flora Overhaul you could still use it. You wouldn't be able to activate both the FloraOverhaul.esp and BarrenBadlands.esp at the same time though
