Before asking the question about the esp, either read the description or read the readme, or keep reading and i'll answer the question.

The esp is to introduce the new BBQ Crisps mesh and texture as a replacer for the Junk Food item. If you do not want the esp or have
issues with compatibility leave a comment, I will see what can be done and if there is no solution then you will have to deal with the
vanilla mesh and texture for the "Junk Food" item.

The 3.0 update comes with the proper esp for Fallout 3 and New Vegas, just hit the link in the description and download the plugin if you have Dead Money and overwrite the vanilla esp.

Bug report: You changed the names  index order of the 3D parts in meshes\clutter\junk\PorkNBeans.nif, from "Pork N Beans:0" and "Pork N Beans: 1" to "Can" and "Label" from label 6 metal 11 to label 11 metal 6, for no real purpose.

While the new names do indeed make it easier to know which is which, there's a problem: other mods that assign alternate textures to that same model for their new objects to have the same can with a different label, like DC Interiors with a can of coffe, will instead apply the new label texture to the metal part of the model if using your mesh, as a result of the name change which, if I'm not mistaken, actually serves no practical purpose, and is not depended upon by any other element of your mod.

EDIT: Changed the actual issue from renaming to reordering the parts

I know I'm a little late to the FO3 modding scene but the Salisbury steak texture seems to be corrupt. Other than that great work.

Remove the .nif file from the below directory to correct the issue.

      Fallout 3 > Data > Meshes > Clutter > Food (steakbox01.nif)

Once deleted the textures will load correctly.

Great mod... except Blackened overwrites the BBQ crisp stuff, because of FWE.

Hey, great work here! Any insight into potential compatibility with Arwens Realism Tweaks?

I dont use Arwen's Tweaks and I have moved onto New Vegas modding and Skyrim modding mostly now, but it is completely compatible for the most part with Arwen's Tweaks, just remove the junk food to barbeque crisps esp and you should be fine as my mod only changes meshes and adds textures to the meshes. Unless Arwen's mod alters the original food meshes themselves or depends on them in which he creates dupes inside of the CK, rather than outside, there could be compatibility issues.

Try installing his mod, then mine, and then remove or uncheck the barbeque crisps esp in your NMM. And see if both work together.

Fixing to dive into FO3 as a prelude to FO4. Very, very happy to see modern efforts at _lore friendly_ textures. That's exactly what I'm hunting for. This set seems to be the highest quality effort I've ever laid eyes on.

Now to find those private mesh updates. :/

Any insight into potential compatibility with Laula's 'More Food' mod?

I'll have to talk to Laulajatar about working together, and this should be completely compatible with the "More Food" mod if the meshes that are used in "More Food" are not the vanilla/replaced ones in my mod as that would cause issues with texture pathing/calling with a result in the can labels themselves ending up with a possible black trim/box around them.

Lalaujatar will need to download my mod with the new meshes and have to redo the texture layouts to fit mine (which allow for more details), in order to make the mod compatible and then make the meshes/textures in "More Food" standalone from mine so that they dont depend on the vanilla meshes that I changed so that there aren't any hiccups.

@Majormodder, I gave you a link in a pm for new pork and beans and the 2 tin can models I just made. Higher poly than the 8 sided 1998 models Bethesda used. You can add them to your mod if you want them.

I got it, thanks again for your work. Glad I was the one that finally got to see high poly meshes of those items and can introduce it into the game in a grand way!

No worries, new can texture deserves a better mesh.

I've been searching for years for a higher poly count tin can, thanks jet

(Fallout 3 is in serious need of a good SMIMming)

No worries on the can. It was on my to-do list since I first saw it and majormodder's texture inspired me to actually make it.

Sorry I wont be doing a SMIM for FO3/FNV, too much work and too much to support.

Any chance for a compressed full resolution version? Here's a good thread if you need more info on the problem. http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1330609-if-youve-released-a-texture-mod-or-plan-to-please-read/

The reason I chose not to compress the textures was so that people could download and compress on their own volition in which the user could optimize and resize to what they deem fit and workable.

Also I did not compress the textures so that everyone could retain the best image quality over internet downloads.

I have extensive knowledge on .dds file compression and would recommend people that may not have "the latest nVidia titans or 16gigs of ram" for gaming, as I don't, to learn and invest in optimization to help boost pc performance.

Thanks for raising the question that a few would want to ask me since there isn't an optimized texture option in the downloads tab, besides, I wanted to leave the option up to the people that download my mods.

Theres just 4 items that needs texture compression. So 8 textures including the normal maps.

      abraxo.dds
      abraxo_n.dds
      bubblegum.dds
      bubblegum_n.dds
      radioactivegumdrops01.dds
      radioactivegumdrops01_n.dds
      sugarbomb.dds
      sugarbomb_n.dds

DDSOpt in the Skyrim downloads should work fine for them and probably wouldn't be a bad idea to do a quick pass for all the texture files in the data folder.

If DDSopt is used it would still be best to keep the files uncompressed, especially the normal maps. DirectX compression doesn't work well with normal maps.

If Wrye Flash is used the plugin added by this mod is incorporated into the bashed patch, so it wouldn't raise the count of plugins in use.

hiya, everything looks great on the pictures If I want to use this mod and Acoraito's HD texture mod together, would there be any problem? I ask this because both mods alter the looks of Abraxo cleaner

Acoraito may be using a different Abraxo UV layout, but you can choose between his abraxo box and texture or mine, if you overwrite my texture your box will/may look messed up as I changed the UV layout so that the mesh will work with my texture.

In short choose his texture and delete my mesh, or keep my mesh and texture so there are not any conflicts.
