Having given the mod a good airing I've decided to uninstall. 7yrs old yet it still seems very unready for release! A few npcs were all dead except a single "vendor" in a basement and even he was unfriendly (red indicator). He was still happy to "vend" except he had no items and just 40 caps. I sold him a pistol, he then reverted to pointing his gun and warning me to get out. Elsewhere, the content is unfinished & sparse yet still gives the area a bit of stutter. Shame because the town needs something yet this comes across as a less-than-half complete alpha - and now a long abandoned one that's just a waste of time for anyone looking for all-too-rare mods for Grayditch.
You wrote: "If you notice any bugs or other errors, please don't hesitate to tell me about it in the comments." Dude, there were bugs all over the place! Big-ass ants! Breathing fire! AHHHHH! LOL, yes, I have a twisted sense of humor. Thanks for this mod! Looking forward to check it out.
Hiya, Just started using this mod and it really is great. There are a number of issues however which I would like to outline: 1. There are missing vectors outside the Marigold Metro Station, on the left incline as you face away from the Metro entrance. 2. Where is the key for Cedrics safe as there are no real clues as to it's wherabouts. 3. All the doors in the dance school are inacessible and the outer door is just a brick wall. Is there a reason for this? 4. Where is the vendor? I cannot seem to locate him, is it Butcher in the Car Dealership? 5. The Cupcake shop is a good idea but needs more of a backstory, or maybe a cupcake vendor? Apart from that it's a great mod just a bit scanty with stuff to shoot at. Thanks again.
Just a heads up to mod users and mod author, this mod adds the "What do you have for sale?" line to all NPC's with dialogue boxes and vendors will have two options in the dialogue box to start to barter. Doesn't seem to be game breaking thus far. Pinpointed this mod by manually disabling mods.
Will this effect the "Those!" and "Nectar Collecting for Fun and Profit" missions if I haven't finished ether before installing the mod. I'll still install it just wondering.
most settlements appear incomplete. yes, this also applies to greyditch. but when expanding, there should not be any other survivor except that doctor and ryan wilks. because adding any additional survivors would be breaking the quest to give him a new home, as he could just stay with those other survivors just where he already lives.
so if you just added the locations with corpses of the owners to be found there, then it is indeedd a great mod.
Well, I only have one living NPC and that's the vendor. Is it lore breaking if he had come into town and stayed in a house basement to hide from the fire ants?
When you're writing dialogue you could include something implying this guy wouldn't be interested in a young boy companion, or that leaving this guy with a young boy companion would be bad because this dude is obviously WAAAAY too interested in a young boy companion.
Use your imagination dude, lol. You're adding to a world.
Maybe the merchant is just hiding out. Maybe he's blissfully unaware of other survivors. Maybe he flatout tells the player to f*#@ off if they say "Would you be interested in taking this boy who survived?" Because who the f*#@ wants to take care of some random kid they don't know?
It's your creation though. In my opinion, as is, it's not lorebreaking. Mostly because I'm one of those people who writes a story in their head and replies in character in my head to Bethesda games.
Will download and endorse , just as you said in the description , even with DCInteriors many areas are left unexplored , im always interested in new areas.

I'm kind of a loser.
