NOTE: This was meant to be an answer to the OP's post of, "no the lore is followed. nv uses purified water as well." Nexus being Nexus, it didn't want to work that way.

    Go to this page:

http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout:_New_Vegas_crafting and scroll down to the part about Medicine...it's about halfway thru the page.  You'll find the following:

    Stimpak

    Science: 70

    Workbench

It's been a while since I played NV, but I might just have to fire it up to see if the Wiki is wrong along with my memories...

EDIT:  Mind you, I'm not trying to be disagreeable here, just trying to get it straight for my own self.  Screenshot from my NV game:

I don't have the cursor on Stimpack, but note the Stimpack icon on the bottom of the image the things it's requiring for make it...Broc, Xander, and Empty Syringe.  :/  I don't run Project Nevada...can that have something to do with it?

Yes, you're in the right thing. I don't know why I thought that water was needed but if i do remove the requirement of the water, it will be too easy, or what do you think? Please comment about this also i think that powder need a diluent, or i'm wrong? Thank you AncientGamer65 for your comment (I hope being clear enough, I am using a translator online.)

You're doing fine...I understand you perfectly. To the "too easy" part, if you think about it, CelticGirl was only requiring Nuka and Med-X along with the syringe. (shrugs shoulders) I do get your point tho...on NV, I always had the feeling that either Xander or Broc had a lot of water to them which came out when crushed...but then again, if that were so, why would a Healing POWDER be that, huh?

I definitely get your point tho...but it does make me wonder how the recipe I pic'ced from NV would work....it's just a Healing Powder in a syringe. :/

Yah, I definitely see your point...and your recipe is fine as it is. Pay no attention to the nerd with too much time on his hands and too much thought invested in the game...lmao! Seriously...the recipe is fine...but I would like to see changes made with the energy cells.

Think of it this way...do you use the Wonder Meat Machine in FWE? It uses a Fission Battery...and said battery refines about 8-12 pieces of meat (done one at a time) before it needs to be replaced...meaning, you install a Fission Battery when you fire it up, then after refining a certain amount of meat, you get a note saying the battery needs changing. That'd be cool here.

      Yes, i too think so.

      Lol! it's ok!

      I'll try that Thanks!

I'm just making a new second reply rather than editing my first one over and over.

    Suggested mod to compliment yours:

http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/20596/?    Crunchy and Chewy Mutfruit Plants all over DC

I was worried because I didn't remember Mutfruit and Crunchy Mutfruit being all that plentiful in game...this fits in great; adds 20 plants around the Capital Wasteland...a Crunchy version is right outside of Megaton.

Thoughts: Bulk production would be nice.  True, Small Energy Cells are plentiful in the game but using one per item creation, you could burn thru a ton of the cells in seconds.  Minor beef, tho; this works perfectly.    kudos and thanks for the mod!

hey im the one who made taht crunchy and chewy mutfruit plants all over dc and just wanted to let you know you can incorporate it into this mod if you wish..just credit coleen for idea/locations and d_ivanov for meshes (free resources). I n the last version I also made cave fungus but I haven't released the code yet. in my cb mod there is one place cave fungus grows every 3 days ..i just been focusing on other stuff etc. yea that's all. oh and good job with super stimpak. the meshes and textures and icons and glow icons for superstimpak are in the bsa file look for them ..is all there. gj

oh sorry in my mod i use crunchy and chewy to produce stimpaks and fixer and other chems. also the grow every 5-7 days so is not too overpowering/easy etc.

Thanks! Yes, i was also thinking of bulk production, perhaps add along with other fixes/addings, such as convert activator to static. And, well, about energy cells, perhaps one by activation would be fine. I download the mod that you mention and i will definately try it out.

I'm liking what I see, but I have questions and comments.

Comment. Quoting the description: "- Refilling Stimpak (Original lore formula: Xander root, Broc flower and Purified water)" Lore was Broc Flower, Xander Root and an Empty Syringe. Why the water? Seems to me like that would dilute the mix and make it less effective. :/ I'm not trying to be a "YOU'RE NOT FOLLOWING LORE!!!" jerk here...you wanna change it up a bit, fine...but the addition of water just puzzles me, is all. :/

Question: I like that you mentioned the CelticGirl mod in your description...kudos for that. I tried that one out, but had to remove it as it was an instant heal stimpack instead of over time...I take it since this is an FWE edition, the stimpack heals over time instead? I'm assuming this...but since that point wasn't in the description, I'd like to know for sure before I download.

Other than that, sounds like a great mod and a reason to use punga and the mutfruit the Underground Hideout mod grows but I never bother to use.

EDIT: I just downloaded it and said, "The heck with it...just try it."

Stimpacks do indeed heal over time, the Super Stimpacks are listed in miscellaneous builds on the workbench...KUDOS! Loving this large...gonna be keeping it. Now, I just have to do some research on Crunchy Mutfruit...the Underground Hideout just grows Mutfruit...gonna see if I can find a mod that changes that.
