    Would this teleport them to a DLC location if you have a mod that lets you hire them remotely?

    I've seen such device in this mod. But for another purposes.

      yes i use that, seems to work ok. but i also use a beacon thing, so i can call them to me when that dont work. but what is needed most, and i have yet to find, is something that resets the inventory of companions going in and out of places, to get rid of the weapon hanging off the elbow and not working bug. even the one you linked dont work for that even tho it says it does. the only known fix i know of, is just to go into and out of their inventory each time it happens.

    Can you modify the mod so that it will control any companion. I have 6 companions and only one is vanilla.

      I can't unfortunately, not without making a patch for every specific companion mod. There's no way for script to get a list of who is assigned to you as a companion, only if a specific, predefined reference is a companion. Even with FOSE I'd have to have an actual form list to iterate through and check if someone was a companion, and even then I wouldn't be able to check specific things like whether or not those companions are set to waiting.

      So, in short, I can't do it without making an ESP for every specific companion mod you use.

      Maybe write tutorial for how to add custom companion to you mod? We can make .esp our self if tutorial provided. =)

      What about an item you can place into the mod-added follower's inventory? You might be able to keep track of mod-added followers that way.

      That might work, though it would be hacky. The player would have to manually put the item in there...

      Remote control companions (Needs FOSE)

      Its what I have been using to warp lost companions bothh vanilla and mod added, you can control them to a certain extent,ie leave them somewhere and when a firefight is imminent call them into your location, resurrect them and a few other things.

      Yukichigai's mod is welcome, does not add a lot of complexity and some type of mod to reacquire lost / stuck companions is needed in this game.
