The computer rack and the tape machine have now an ON and an OFF state and can be activated .

Activable Computer rack and tape machine.
A simple mod for a more interactive Fallout 3 World.
Made in about an hour, it has been initiated, 15 days ago, in this thread, and has processed sub-consciously till today.

Description

The computer rack and the tape machine have now an ON and an OFF state and are activable .
Available as replacement or resource.
The replacement version will change all the computer rack and tape machine of the games into activable one.
There are two types of computer rack in the game.
One is named Computer Rack and has On/Off states activable.
The other is named Control Console and will bring you in 3rd person animation for the On activation. (Like the one in Megaton Player house.)
They both look the same.
Both objects have their buzzing looped sounds replaced by a switch sound when activated.
To have the looping sound played when On, would have mean to create and link more than hundred times the sound. Way too much for a little mod.
The resource is intended for modders to include in their own mods only.

Install Replacement Version
---------------------------
Use a Mod Manager to install
or manually:
Unpack the archive, drop the content into your Fallout 3 directory (not into the data as the package is already named Data).
Accept when asked to overwrite.
Uninstall Replacement Version
----------------------------
Use a Mod Manager to uninstall
or manually:
Delete the computerrack01.nif and the tapemachine01.nif in Meshesclutterconsoles
Delete the ActivableComputerRack.esp in your Data folder.
Delete the "Activable Computer rack and tape machine-ReadMe.txt" in your Data folder.
Resource Version
-----------------
Both meshes have been renamed to computerrackOnOff01.1 and tapemachineOnOff01.nif.
The texture path is Vanilla, so meshes can be installed anywhere.
