2023 review: Excellent mod which I use for every Fallout 3 playthrough. More so, now I can't even play Fallout 3, NV or 4 without any iteration of "NPCs Travel" mod. It's necessary addition in my opinion. That way Wasteland felt more alive than ever, it would be a major plus if you installed some kind of increase spawn mod for new enemies. Expect different events and situations in which little wastelanders and scavengers will appear. No bugs of major conflicts, even in heavy load-out of plugins after almost 250 hours. Should you try this mod in 2023? Yes, it will enhance Wasteland worldspace greatly. "Must have" mod for any returning on new Fallout 3 enjoyer. Endorsement from me.
So Im playing this mod with the NPC's respawn mod right now on a fresh start. This worked some years ago with something closer to vanilla ofc and Im trying it agein. It made the whole world come allive with fights and struggles. So sleeping in one spot would make your NPC mod ancounter cool stuff ^^ (I worked to much then so didnt have time to actually play test more but will try now) using a few smaller mods on the side to now... Im Hoping this works with: Fose Unofficial Fallout 3 ESM Patcher
those I cant seem to get to work with it as of now is:
Simple Needs, tried instaling each rework and update of it Sprint mod
So Hopefully your mod Works with the Unofficial Fallout 3 ESM Patcher (Maby it dont but I really hope) and perhaps even the NPC respawn mod.
Because that time when I fellt really lone and down, I installed this game, your mod and NPC spawn. It made my childhood come back so thank you for that <3 <3 <3
Terribly designed mod that will completely destroy the balance of your game.
Each of these npcs carries a ridiculous amount of fucking loot. And you get no karma loss for killing them.
Meaning that you can literally get access to thousands and thousands of caps on top of a s#*! ton of endgame gear super easily just by shooting them in the head, with zero downside.
Use the mod True Wasteland Economy it's one of the best loot destruction mods it can filter out only high cap items and also degrade condition of the items so you have to repair the stuff or just not take it.
I had the same error message with several other mods I recently installed. Tbh, I’ve ignored the error message and the game seems to play ok (without crashes). I did see a suggestion that installing via FOMM would work, but the error(s) still then show in Vortex.
Okay I've converted this, but bad news, I'm using an old TTW ver. 2.9 (Don't ask why).
Now, this works for me, and I've tested it for 10 minutes, so 1. I cannot promise this will work 100% even if you were using 2.9 like me, seems to work fine though. 2. If you use this in 3.X TTW (Latest) then I'm sure you'd need to convert or clean it. But regardless. Here you are, maybe it will work.
Reading the description, it sounds like I should be able to not only talk to travelling NPCs but also trade with them. I can talk to them, but all they say is "What do you need?" with no dialog options at all. Can anyone tell me how I can get the dialog options and ability to trade with the travelling NPCs?
How difficult would it be to remove all the portions of this mod but the Brotherhood patrols? I was thinking of doing that for my game since I want Brotherhood patrols but I don't want the wasteland to be too populated. And all the other mods that add Brotherhood patrols are super buggy
Sorry I don't remember the mod details but it should be easy to do in the config menu.

I tried both the .esp and .esm versions and it persists.
