Just using the lod noise map provided with this mod. It adds subtle detail as well as being slightly darker than vanilla, blending in the sourrounding lod objects better. See screenshots

Installed using Vortex, figured that is an easier but still valid way of installing it. Correct me if I'm wrong. Also, does this mod simply sharpen the textures/enhance LOD or is it supposed to look exactly the way it does in the screenshots?

Check if you have installed DirectX 9.0c (June 2010).

I was using "Realism ENB 0_237" along with "Fallout Street Lights". After I installed "SweetFX Suite and Terrain LOD noise map", the "Street Lights" wouldn't work anymore, not even after uninstalling and installing it again, not to mention all the effects I had on "Realism ENB", I had to delete this "SweetFX Suite" and install "Realism ENB" all over again, alas "Street Lights" no longer work...

Why I'm getting 50 fps after installing Sweetfx? I mesure it with my Enb Nuclear - which includes already a Sweet fx preset - in the window settings ingame. Before the install with the split folder option I got 60 fps. I've tried to uninstall the game, and reinstall al my mods, with no success. I've even checked Fallout Stutter remover, and Maximum fps is set to 0.

I have a R9 290x and an i7 4820k and I have deleted also sweetfx configurator folder. Can anyone help me?

Ehr... sorry. My mind is a black hole. My monitor was set to 50hz mode, for a strange reason. So sorry for stupid question, but I couldn't suspect that... :/

Yeah, I actually doubt it has anything at all to do with this mod -- actually, by using this mod you don't have to install one or more files in order to get the game to work if my memory serves me right.

People think it has to do with a particular mod when their game freezes up, but in most cases, it actually has to do with Fallout 3 and the ini files. If you install the game and get it to run, it may seem absolutely fine until it crashes on you; it has crashed, because you have not tweaked your ini files. FYI: over tweaking your ini files will make your game unstable and crash as well .

If you bring up the console (~) at the main menu and type: coc TLRockwellBasement

You should be able to load into the area without any issues, however, you probably won't be able to play for more than a minute before your game freezes up -- whether you have this mod installed or not. That is unless you have made changes to your ini files to get it to work; which those are, don't ask as I don't have the time to track this down for you and really it is up to you to get your game working correctly.

But I can suggest you search these forums or Google it .

I added the files to my Fallout directory as I would an ENB, but when I loaded the game there was no antialiasing at all. Even PIP boy text was aliasing. Do I need to turn on the SMAA in one of the configuration files? I pressed the home button to test if it was running and indeed the colors changed a bit. Seemed to make things a little darker, but no antialiasing was noticed.

I installed it yesterday the same way and it works fine (Better than fine it looks great) . Did you delete redererinfo.txt and run the stock launcher after you uninstalled your last enb?
If yes maybe just try a new download and install.

Is there a way to make this compatible with this weather mod(the best out there)?
    http://www.moddb.com/mods/weather-for-enb-urwlenb-fo3

By compatible, I mean to make the whole lightning more bright. The game feels way too dark and under several angles its really difficult to see details clear(like eyes, faces, guns, etc) even at broad daylight. Something in the coloring (sorry I don't really know the proper terminology) or the vibrance or whatever defines that doesn't match at all with this mod's lightning system.

If someone could point me which settings I should tweak I would really appreciate it.

Another FO3 playthrough and again I'm left feeling this mod is amazing. Looks better imo than most ENB's with half the performance cost (if that). Reminiscent of NV but a lot grittier, I genuinely wouldn't play FO3 without it.

As usual Selfinducedcoma I can't praise you enough ^^
