Are the Chinese at the outpost friendly? if not what's their faction code because I'm playing a Chinese remnant myself and want to be friendly with them.
Finally something interesting happening in the area of Arlington national cemetery! It's been probably my least favourite part of FO3 map, being always so empty and boring, with minimum amount of content and no good reason to keep coming back to except rarely (a few raiders outdoors, Mama Dolce's, that lone house and an AWoP location, plus a few quest mods making you go there). As that whole part of the city is not really frequented by any of the major factions (except for a few Talon troopers relatively close by in the Mason Dst) it totally makes sense that this location becomes a stronghold of, basically, a whole little army of Chinese. And yes, there are LOTS of them
The Chinese base is excellently positioned and designed, with lots of guards - some standing, some patroling. Some older comments nag about the sheer number of troopers but it takes about a second to disable an NPC via console so that is not really what one would call a problem. Technically everything works great. Sometimes a gray void opens up indoors, but I guess it's due to number of indoors NPCs as well. And the "faction friendly" file works - if you install it, indeed nobody inside will attack you and you'll be free to roam Mama Dolce's as you wish. If not, if you enter without it, you'll be in for one of probably the craziest fights in FO3, given the number of soldiers...
Finally, Arlington national cemetery is no longer a strange empty land but a credible FO3 location, fun to pass by. Once more, excellent mod!
I'm going to endorse this because the atmosphere is fantastic...especially with the work going on inside. Looks like there's a plan in action.
This really needs work though, and I hope someone picks it up (I lack the know how).
First issue is the sheer amount of soldiers. They can be cut down to at least 1/3 or 1/2 of the amount with less specialities.
Secondly, there are voice files for Chinese soldiers from Tranquillity Lane and the Anchorage DLC that can be used, which isn't.
Thirdly, the new structures could be placed better without so much clipping.
Fourthly, the sheer amount of free equipment - a massive pile of chinese stealth suits, for example - is just too much. I'd be happy if there were no access to DLC prizes at all.
Sounds stupid to say, but the mod needs cutting down and perfecting. There's just too much.
I really love this mod, i even made a character build for it and added the ranked uniforms to some using your other chinese mod. But can you please make a version that adds the player to the chinese soldier faction? I am annoyed that in combat they do not attack my enemies so i have to set the enemy's aggression to 50 but then if there is more than 1 enemy and i set aggression for both, they just attack each other.
