I am wondering if the Linden and Medic armor can be used without the main file? If ai don't get an answer I will just try it on my next playthrough... I have a DLC delayer on Operation Anchorage and don't need the Casdin route... also I would prefer the medic armor before the T-51B, and The T51B armor has a long quest to get it... so I likely won't need Fort Constantine even tho I would like to keep it
im not sure if i figured this out myself but, one time i started a new game, i went to operation anchorage. and when i came back i could use power armor. so go to anchorage come back and tell me if im *pooing* you. its easier then just downloading a random mod off the internet not to be offensive toward maker of this mod. i just saw the title and remembered what i did to skip the brotherhood bullcrap.
This just adds better easier ways to get it lol they never said there way only one way. Going through the main quest takes time, and O.A is quite difficult at lower levels
@TrueDespair. Sure, getting a silly perk following the main quest takes time. But the alternative is trudging through enemy territory (not such a thing as 'friendly' territory in the Wastelands) to a fort at the edge of civilization, or the map, which is the same. I wonder what would take more time. I also wonder which of the two would cause more damage to my character...
A really like the mod, even tho I got the power armor training at lvl4 (I found a lot of alien cells, and I just give them all) whitch is a bit broken.
For the Pitt, you should be able to pay the Raider leader (I forget his name) to teach you. Also, perhaps maybe a group of power-armored raiders in really low-grade/condition power armor with a holotape in a footlocker that teaches you or something.
You mean Ashur? Well he wasn't really a raider; he commanded a bunch of so called raiders. They really were misnamed by Bethesda because clearly they are Mercs. However; yeah I agree with you this should be an available route to getting power armor training. (if you side with Ashur that is.) Ashur is after all a former BOS member and he still wears his armor. He is properly grateful for your assistance and agrees that you deserve a reward. It could go something like This: You have gotten the tribal armor from Everett and after Ahsur rewards you with the free use of the ammo press you could ask him for the training. Also it just occurred to me that there might be another route that would make a whole lot of sense. Have Everett the mill foreman give you the training. It was his armor and from his stories it sounds like he was in on the scourge.
good mod to fix this problem, of course you can always finish operation anchorage (although it would be tough on lower levels) and get both winterized power armor and training at the same time.
Nice little Mod that fixes another really annoying aspect of the vanilla game. I mean you are in the end game by the time you get armor training and everyone and I mean everyone in the wasteland including children can use it from the get go, but you cant !! ?? .....WTF. Well this fixes that and now you can get the training in a number of very sensible ways and you will be well into the game but not at the tail end. So Kudos for the nice Mod.
Yeah, there was a bit of a bug for me. I fast traveled to Fort Independence and suddenly all of the Outcasts just started attacking me. I didn't do anything previously to piss them off, they just randomly did it. If you could please tell me how to fix that, it would be most appreciated. Thanks!
Suggestion: After you are trusted by the Outcasts. Make a message appear and say: "Protector Casdin taught you how to wear power armor." I didn't know I've got the power armor training until I checked my perk page.

Or even viceversa? (if you download the manual first and then get trained by Casdin or Linden)
I don't think either the terminal and/or the dialogue scripts for both of them check to see if you already have the perk. Do they?
