Got a couple of issues if anyone can help
1: The experience UI doesn't seem to track properly
2: I have the requirements for some perks but they're still not unlockable

Oh and alsoHere and Now didn't level me up but that could be related to "two perks per level" mod

FYI regarding UPP - Quest Perks: it reverts some Updated Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch changes to Tranquility Lane scripts and causes a player character to be permanently stuck in the tranquility lounger pod after the conversation with father and unable to progress.
    Solutions to this:
    1. For quick solution just open the console when your character is stuck in the pod and enter this: enableplayercontrols. This also works if the player character gets stuck in the pod after completion of Anchorage simulation.
    2. For permanent solution open FO3Edit, load all esp files, in the left panel under UPP  - Quest Perks.esp open Quests, select 00014E8A MQ04 Tranquility Lane. In the right panel find the section for INDX - Stage Index with value 200 in all 3 columns (it will have an 8 lines total with red background) and drag 3 entries from UUF3P which are overwritten (their text color is red) on top of the same ones from UPP - Quest Perks, they are: CompiledSize, SCDA and SCTX (should start with "SetObjectiveCompleted MQ04 5 1..."). Close and save UPP  - Quest Perks.esp.

    Other notes:
    - UPP - Quest Perks also reverts UUF3P changes to The Waters of Life quest.
    - UPP - Beverage Perks overwrites alcohol, dirty water and purified water. So, for example no new pickup sounds for alcohol and water from Immersive Pickup Sounds mod and no hydration from water for all basic needs mods. It's not difficult to make a custom compatibility patch for this one in FO3Edit.

while i like a good number of these, the vast majority seem to have a negative downside that directly contradicts the benefit of the perk in a way that doesn't change how you play.  The no random crits but increased flat damage perks or + crit - damage perks for example.  I don't have the math skills to say if this actually improves dps or not, but it seems like placebo.  It would be fine if they affected anything the player has agency over, ex if crits worked the way they do in fallout 4 where you save and spend them.

      Good question.
I've tried it and got conflict errors by Vortex.

Using only UPP Packs 1 and 2 there seems to be no problem but if i add / want to use one of the other additional perk packs (say the Beverages) i got unresolved file conflicts

With so many many new, additional perks to chose from:
would it be a good idea to install a mod that allows to select two perks during a level up?

I've 100%ed FO3  around three times and know the game meaning i wouldn't ruin my experience by being OPed in a possible first playthrough.

    What are your thoughts, guys?

Dude the body shield perk is so fucking OP, and you can take it at level 2......

With that perk you are literally playing at very very very very very very easy mode. Like what was the modder thinking.

Body Shield was most likely created for those of us that use Real Weapon Damages Alt version combined with Locational Damage?. Even wearing Winterized Power Armor I will occasionally get insta-killed by a headshot from Talon Company Merc or Raider but if I am lucky I can do the same to them. Body Shield will come in handy because I also use 20th Century Weapons along with FWE, Marts MM, WMK, FOIP. I just encountered over 150 various Ghouls with increased spawns on Marts MM in Dunwich Building and it was hell to get through.

Has anyone had issues with NMCs Texture Pack? When i installed "perk pack", then all the textures are going back to standard, like normal fallout without "texture pack". Can anyone help?

My question is - does Tough Motherfucker affect Stimpaks? I would hate not being able to heal myself with them, i could care less about other other chems as i don't use them and other consumables, that raise or decrease stats temporary, but not being able to heal myself in combat is a no-go!

I wish I'd used this earlier as I am near end game, but I hope I didn't miss much

Some of the perk descriptions are incredibly funny, laughed so hard I cried, thanks (esp Don't like Mondays). Sure the mod will make Fallout 3 into a weirder version along the lines of Fallout 2.
