Now i'm trying to understand the problem with multiple esp's. I added my scripts to weapons (vanilla, FWE, and 20thCW) in my personal mod "Accurate guns1 for 20thCW" but it doesn't work, for now...[edit1]=> NO it doesn't work!
I tried with the 10mmSMG but it doesn't work.[[edit2]=>Yes it does! in fact it was the 10mmPistol not the SMG] [[edit3] Now it works! ]
great mod, any chance to make the recoil lowest setting, feel...ugh..., a litle lower? the idea is good but idk if its just for my game, but the recoil is really high on the lowest setting. keep up the good work otherwise
What would be the easiest way to modify the recoil of energy-based weapons?
I'm thinking energy weapons should have little to no recoil simply because there's no momentum from a projectile to transfer to the weapon. It's just a laser, photons, I'm assuming.
me got a awesome idea! my next mod will be ammo mags for the guns. instead of the ammo magically teleporting into your mag, you will have to fill up a number of mags before you head out into the wastes fighting muties. EDIT: i've created a basic script for the mags and made a little demo of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YQY35ipzlYI
i did some more testing and finally got some good info. i found 2 things that cause the recoil to stop working.
when someone loads a save from before the recoil mod was activated while in game, the recoil will stop. to fix this problem the save should be loaded from the main menu.
another thing especially important for modders is that the scripts that control the recoil setting must be in the same esp file as the rest of the recoil scripts. otherwise the scripts won't work.
i was afraid i messed up something with the scripts, but it's fallout 3 itself causing the bugs. so now i can finally relax knowing what causes problems and how to avoid or fix them.
Cheers. I'll probably use this for my personal mod instead of the old recoil mod. Never did make sense to me why a bb gun recoiled as much as a 25mm cannon anyway...
the reason i increased vertical recoil when aiming is because of persons center of gravity and leverage. when firing the gun from the hip it's far closer to the center of gravity than when aiming down sight. however i'm a fool... i haven't taken the zoom onto account when aiming, which makes it harder to compensate for the recoil. i'll change that in version 1.2.
as for the bug with where the recoil dies when reloading a save, i think i have a fix for it... but this time i'll make sure i thoroughly test it before uploading it.
