Года 3 или 4 тому назад я играл в Fallout 3 с этим модом. Мод очень понравился, классный. Работает отлично. Сейчас хочу вспомнить прошлое, и снова установлю этот мод. Спасибо разработчикам.
Three things: 1) Removing Frank's body (https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Frank_%28Fallout_3%29) causes all slavers to be hostile towards you. 2) Removing ants' bodies in Canterbury Commons is impossible right after the first battle between AntAgonizer and Mechanist (It's possible to do so after applying UFO3P, though they disappear after some time I guess). 3) Zap-Away sign appears as yawA-paZ on the opposite side. :P
My only suggestion for an improvement would be weight and ammo requirement to be added. Thanks for making this one. ^^
Quote from FlawlessSin "does it work on bodies that are already there? as in bodies in raider hideouts that are used to deter you from messing with them?"
Answer: NO
But you can open the console and click on them, then use the "disable" command. That also works on a lot of regular bodies as well, but an annoying number of them don't respond to that command.
Zap-away works on about any corpse that's subject to ragdoll physics including rotting brahmin corpses regardless of whether or not they were already there but it doesn't work on other corpses like ones hanging from hooks, ones attached to mattresses, or random skinned torsos.
"does it work on bodies that are already there? as in bodies in raider hideouts that are used to deter you from messing with them?" that does not work on me . i always attack the place .
Is this just basic disable where the bodies are still technically there taking up space or is this like mark for delete or better yet the zap command? i find that removing bodies and trash and buildings with zap causes the game to run better by freeing by getting rid of useless space occupiers.
This is definitely one of the best FO3 mods ever made. It does what it's supposed to without any glitches or extra stuff. Without Zap-Away, I wouldn't have as much fun playing Fallout 3 as I do now. The only alternative to using this is constantly going into the console and typing "disable", which ruins immersion.
On the subject of immersion, here are some suggestions that, for me, make the mod even more immersive:
- Use the original appearance of the weapon; it looks good, as though it's a custom-built energy weapon. - Name it something else that fits in with the other item names in the game...my favorite is "Tesla Pistol". - A weapon that can totally disintegrate corpses should also do at least some damage to the living - Make it use Energy Cells as ammunition; the infinite ammo is unrealistic - The weapon should be degradable like everything else in the game is. It could be repaired with 10mm Pistols or Energy Pistols - Give the item some weight; the 0 weight is also unrealistic. A simple solution is to just tweak all the stats to be about the same as an Energy Pistol.
