Not sure when was the last time this mod was updated. But, it does conflict with the Underground Hideout located in Rivet City, outside. Since the Hideout makes some changes to the area surrounding the shelter, removing one of the lamps but the light added by this mod still remains.
I know this is from 2014, but if anyone is having this issue in 2023 here is the fix. 1. Open FO3 xEdit. 2. Find the SteetLights - wasteland.esp in xEdit. 3. Open Worldspace/Block 0, -1/Sub-Block 2,-3 4. Delete the file 00000E0E
hi, i'm having trouble here, cant figure it out, i have street lights & this wasteland one installed (as far as i know), but the only lights i see are the 2 spotlights on megaton, i cant see any street lights whatsoever, can someone help me ?
As per the link below look at this mod here the mod has changed, there should be no more need for the wasteland .esp, The way I understand it is the DC are and wasteland were merged into one plugin. un-install this mod and try the other one and read through the main page and the comments. that should fix your issue.
This mod is made obsolete by this one here: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/8069/?
Says so in the description:
"COMPATIBILITY!! If you have Broken Steel DLC you should have Street Lights before it in your load order. This mod does make streetlights - wasteland obsolete."
This plus Fellout is just incredible. Walking through the darkness, seeing pools of light in the distance, wondering who's out there.... It really transforms the experience of walking the wastes.
as mentioned before the NMC Texture Pack give HUGE trouble with the streetlights mod, with the vanilla textures it has ZERO PROBLEMS, with every other mod it works like a charm... now being greedy about modding i downloaded NMC texture pack and as said bellow me, some textures go dark then bright, some extures are complete missing lightning with the pipboy unless im in certain angle.
Used the FOMM to install NMC so (i believe) it made a backup of the textures, i deactivated the package but now with the vanilla textures the problem persist, ill be damned because i was progressed in the story and with FWE is hard to level, now all look ugly and miss lighted... so just to prevent people from making the same mistakes.
The problem isn't NMC texture packs. This is a problem with the lighting in Fallout 3. Some textures are can only have 1 light source. If 2 light sources touch them they go dark, newspaper litter on the floor of interiors are like this and some streets are like this. Actually NMC might have more or less of these type of textures I'm not sure but the problem exists in vanilla as well.
