My mods are not working with the new "Update 7"! Please, use the "Update 3" version! I was busy last year and my modder PC is dead (electrical accident). I need time to update my mods. Sorry girls/guys!
Trying tor merge this with https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/50?tab=forum but won't work. I seem to only be able to load one or the other. There is a file that overlaps in the two.
If you want to merge files, I think these are the files path and what you need to copy. - For the power leveling (not the vocation rank up): game_main\param\pl\level Just copy (and replace) the exp file, I recommend getting it from extracting this mod game_main.arc of the variation you prefer (rather than using the .xml file from the resource files, especially if you are unfamiliar with modding, like me) - For the vocation rank up: game_main\param\pl\JobLevel Copy and replace all the files there. Should be able to work unless you tweaked with other files. Hope this helps.
When I use Chinese, the game cannot be opened and will jump out of \ ddda \ nativepc \ ID \ localize \ jap \ word_id_jpn.tex3 error. But when I change to English or Japanese mod, I can run normally
hello, at level 1 I still need 200 exp to level up once? I think that is the vanilla number... can anyone confirm how to make this work, please? thanks btw, author and what did the author mean with "please use the update 3" version, is that of the game?
I wish it was clear which files were actually changed as I think if you are using for example the "Power Leveling IIa Requested edition" version there is more than one thing to change if you want 50% xp and vocation xp and also want no stamina drain and 10k weight limit.
I don't think just changing the "exp.plexp.xml" from the "game_main\param\pl\level" folder will cut it?
EDIT: This still needs testing but seems more like it I think. Copy these files and overwrite from this unpacked mod to your unpacked game_main folder on dragon dogma\nativePC\rom folder:
game_main\param\pl\level\copy the "exp.plexp.xml" I am not sure if this file cover vocation xp too or not? game_main\param\pl\stamina\COPY ALL FILES FROM THIS FOLDER game_main\param\pl\weight\COPY ALL FILES FROM THIS FOLDER
Where can I find the "Update 3" ? Sorry new to mods. And I dont know what Arc Extractor is also. Can anyone give like a short walkthrough or steps to get the mods to work
For anyone reading this in the future and know how to use arc extractor, the files that are changed (after extracting game_main.arc) are in:
game_main\param\pl\level
edit: In the file path above, I believe you only need to change the exp file for this mod (it should be the top one). The file names with vocations in the name affect stats gained on leveling up (important if you're using Adjusted Stats from Leveling).
I'm not familiar with the vocation rank up mod, so I can't say for that. All I can say is that you can use both this mod and Adjusted Stats if you know how to use arc extractor. In the file path above, the exp file is for this mod and all the other files are for Adjusted Stats.
