There you go, v2 is out. Sorry for the wait, been working on this for a while. It's a lot more polished than the first version and features a straight forward install script so you don't have to worry about anything.
Works at the first time after installing, with my ps4 controller using steam. BUT after closing the game and starting it again, the main menu has the modified buttons BUT when after loading the save, it goes back to the annoying 12345678910 buttons, and the Square and Triangle buttons get reversed only when you use skills.
Wish all Dragon's Dogma mods functioned this way.. absolute perfection.
Not a single other mod I've seen (besides his other mod) has a simple batch file to automatically merge its changes into your already modded file, and you WILL have other mods you want to merge. Learning to do so manually is an absolute chore. Made slightly easier with this plugin.
Shame the mod author hasn't been seen on Nexus since 2016.
Adding the comment since I've saw some people mentioning it:
ArcTool it's still functional and you can download it here.
Extract the FILES of the mod plus the Arctool.exe on dragon's dogma main folder, follow the installation on the console that it will appear and it will install the mod while merging with other previously installed mods to avoid conflict.
yeah it's really sad because i particularly liked how the visual style of the prompts in this mod are neutrally colored (they match the original style) we just have to settle for a different mod, i guess here's the one i'm using: https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/125
