hello, I found a fatal error when I replaced the files in nativePC/rom and entered the game loading archive which says 'Failed open file D:\steam\...\nativePC\id\localize\jpn\word_ID_jpn.tex 3'. Have no idea what's going on
Is there a tool to edit the *.PLW files for weight(game_main\param\pl\weight)? How should one go about editing the files in this section (main_game/para)?
deatheaterp, hello. First, download it: 1. ARCtool 2. ARCtool-PC-batch Second, unpack ARCtool.rar & ARCtool-PC-batch.rar. You need only two files, ARCtool.exe(from ARCtool.rar) & pc-dd.bat(from ARCtool-PC-batch.rar). Thirdly, open pc-dd.bat with notepad or notepad++ and replace line: Original line:
Only one argument do it, is -xfs. Now, copy/paste original game_main.arc from "D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\DDDA\nativePC\rom" in your work folder where are ARCtool.exe & pc-dd.bat and drag & drop to pc-dd.bat. After this you have unpacked folder, name "game_main" and files on the way "game_main\param\pl\weight". For example, unpack original game_main.arc and modded game_main.arc and compare files for a better understanding what you need replace. Done and good luck.
Unpack the file (I do it on my desktop to make it easier), and place the game_main.arc file into DDDA > nativePC > rom, and agree to override the game's main arc file there. It works: I just tried it.
@Scragglie this is where it needs to be placed and it should run fine assuming you don't have any other conflicting mods that would prevent it from loading.

Tehn go back to menu, load your saved game again, it works.
First, download it:
1. ARCtool
2. ARCtool-PC-batch
Second, unpack ARCtool.rar & ARCtool-PC-batch.rar.
You need only two files, ARCtool.exe(from ARCtool.rar) & pc-dd.bat(from ARCtool-PC-batch.rar).
