I don't see this getting replied to unfortunately, but. I stopped playing DA for a while, and have just come back today. I never had issues with this mod before, but coming back to my most recent save, the hair was no longer on my character. Played around a bit and finally gave up and started a new save to see if that would help - which it did, for a while. Until I got out of the cutscenes in the beginning, and suddenly my character's pretty waves were gone and replaced with the original hairstyle. I'm not quite sure how to fix this. :( I know there was a DAI update recently and I can only assume that's what's caused this.
Sorry for the late reply. I haven't played the game in a really long time. The only think I can think of is that the meshes were turned down. They need to be on ultra.
If that's not the problem, I'm sorry i can't be more help.
The link for the mesh it replaces doesn't work for me? I really want to use this hair style but I need to know so I can change it through the black emporium. Please help
This is absolutely beautimus~! I was going to use it for Hawke, but my elven Inquisitor's silver hair looks amazing with your mod! Ran into a small problem, but found the solution in the posts~! (Cutscene, ultra mesh issue. ^^; I'm new to DA Modding) Thank you for making this!
Thank you Korikoc for coming back and converting this for all other race/gender options, especially Dwarven Females. Looks great on mine. Too bad there aren't enough hair strands for you to make a Qunari version.
I'm in need of a bit of help, I'm playing a female elf mage and currently I'm halfway into the game. I've just recently discovered this mod and wanted to apply the look on my existing elven inquisitor. I've installed DAI mod manager and installed the mod with it, the problem is, I can see the changes when starting a new game such as new hairstyle and the change in elven body appearance but the changes doesn't apply to my current save game (tried to change my appearance at black emporium, but didnt work since its still using the old mesh, the options available are the ones before I apply any of the cosmetic mods)
So how do I apply the hairstyle and custom body models to my already existing save game?
Hairstyles won't show up in the black emporium. All you have to do is go in and select this hairstyle and exit and it should work! Make sure your hair meshes are set to ultra or they may only show up in cutscenes, (Sounds like you already have done that though if they show up in the CC).
As for custom body models, I've never used them myself, but it's my understanding that it should just apply automatically. Some outfits aren't compatible with the mod, but as I said that I've never used the mod myself I have no idea what's compatible and what isn't.
Hey! I love your hair. Unfortunately, it replaces the same hair that another one I like does. I would like to keep both! Would it be possible for you to make it so that it can replace one of those awful vanilla bald hairstyles (of which there are a thousand, for some reason)? Or tell me how to do it? Thanks in advance! My character is having a great hair day thanks to you!
Sorry, what you're asking for isn't possible at this time. We have to stick with the hairstyle in each slot and we can't add any strands or it won't import back in the game.
I understood, and didn't mention adding an extra slot I meant hair pieces. We're hoping it might be possible in the future to replace hairstyles with others, and to overall just do more.
Korikoc, I apologize if you have addressed this in the past, but since I cannot find a mentioning of it, I'll ask anyway:
Why didn't you make this for female Dwarves as well?
The hair is excellent, defiantly the best I've seen. I'm just curious why it isn't available for female Dwarves. Thanks for making this, really improves my Inquisitor's looks (Human and Elf).
Because modding hair is a ton of work, and transferring hairstyles to all of the races isn't always easy. Sometimes the shape of the scalp gets in the way, sometimes it's the height difference.
At the time that I made this, I was very busy with school and work so I had to put a lid on it somewhere. I've entertained the idea of opening it to dwarves, but only in the last couple of days to be quite honest. It probably won't happen for another couple of weeks since I go into an intensive seven weeks starting tomorrow.
Thank you for replying. I was thinking it was time related. I've looked at some of the tools. I'm not that gifted of a modder! LOL... Thank you for releasing what you did... it really does greatly improve my Inquisitors. I used it with my Lavellan sliders "mod" (giving you full credit, of course). Your "long tresses" mod is nice work, although I only use long hair on females.
If you do ever have the urge to make this hairstyle for dwarves, I would appriciate it. It's quite difficult to find Dwarven mods I like, as most are human/elf only. If you think Dwarves would be tricky, I would imagine it would be much more difficult to make this hairstyle work on Qunari! LOL! That would be interesting to see. You don't have to though, just a fun thought.
Again, thank you for releasing this mod. Been waiting a long time for such a hair mod. Now if Bioware could only figure out how to make truly dynamic hair, we could have long hair "pre-installed" next time (Mass Effect 4 or Dragon Age 4), instead of everyone walking around with just bald hair! Ugh! Why?! LOL!
I don't think so. There are already some funny things going on with the modmaker that Dawn's been working diligently on to resolve. That being said, Modders are already working with a rolled back Mod Maker, and I don't have anything older than what I already have.
So Requirements are patch 8 or higher, and mod manager 59 which is the latest version according to my DAItoolsSuite loader.

That would be wonderful wouldn't it, could do more with Qunari hair in general.
