Okay just a couple of regularly asked questions: 1) Modded hair will not show in the BE since the BE does not load ultra meshes which is the mesh all hair mods use. Select the vanilla hair that the mod replaces then when you exit the BE the modded hair will show. Hair meshes will not case the game to crash when entering only skin textures, eyebrows and tattoo mods will cause the game to crash when entering. 2) Mods and the new dlc are not working together nicely yet, you will have to make a modded patch with the official patch only to get into the new dlc area then save go out and re add your modded patch and they will show in the dlc.
UPDATE 12/14/2015: I am no longer modding DAI (my 3ds has stopped working) so my mods are a take it or leave it situation. There will be no further updates or changes made.

The best looking elf character I've ever seen! I love the lips, cheekbones, and hair. Such a unique combination of features really makes this character stand out. I do agree with a few other people and wish there was a short haired version. The lovely photos you provided are all short hair angles and it matches her face nicely; I think it's very different from the original. I know you are no longer modding DAI though :( Thank you so much for the sliders too!
Thank-you for all the kind words. Unfortunately there will not be a shorter version unless someone else does it as I no longer have a subscription for 3DS Max that I need in order to edit meshes for DAI. That being said anyone is free to do it and release it as my permissions are open.
This hair mod is absolutely beautiful , but i have to ask, when Im not in a cut scene the hair mesh goes to the default one(w/e you call the hair this one replaces), why is that?
Thank-you If it does not show during regular gameplay then your mesh graphics settings are not set to ultra, this hair replaces lod0 which is the ultra hair mesh (it has the most vertices and strands to work with). The cut scenes play with ultra meshes by default so that is why it shows there.

Thank the maker this hair works in Trespasser!! I had a few hair styles that never worked with the DLC, my character looked so weird when I started Trespasser. It's my favorite at the moment <3 Which is unfortunate because I can't tell which character is which when I load them in game.
Thank-you unfortunately the Trespasser DLC will not accept complexions that have changes to spec maps, which is how we "deshine" the skin. At the moment there is no way around this so you have to use the trespasser version with the shiny sweaty face.
This mod is great, I love the hair style more than any others on the web. MY only wish is that I could stop the hair around the neck/shoulders. Otherwise the hair waves around like a board when you move your head. I know that is how all the hair works in this game, This is why I wish I could edit it to stop at the shoulders.
Thanks I think I am no longer modding DAI as my version of 3ds is no longer working so the hair will stay as is.
Also as I stated below to other requests for shoulder length hair: Sorry a short haircut option will not be made anytime soon or at all. In all honesty a short hair option is pretty much the vanilla one as this hair is pretty much just a lengthened version of the original hair I did not change much beyond making it longer.
Not sure, spent too much time modding the game and not enough time playing I have only finished the game once on my PS4 and have never finished it on the PC or played any of the DLC.
Hairstyles dont show at all during game. Not just yours, every single one. During character creation they work just fine and once game starts...boom. total disappointment and back to the ugly hairstyles. Every other mod works fine but the hairstyles. Can you help me? What did i do wrong?
The Ehlenna hair (HF) is a direct port of Shaelyn's hair (EF) so they are almost 100% alike except for a few changes to get it to fit the female human head.
