Don't pay attention, such people think they can do anything with straight characters, but they forbid it with gays. Kringe. The author just made it possible to love without reference to gender, all the characters, not just him. Like in the second game.
As someone who really doesn't like the idea of taking away character's established queer sexualities... My sincere thanks for making this mod. My current playthrough is a genderqueer transmasc elf who doesn't subscribe to human gender norms and to think that a character like Dorian would turn them away for something as simple as the lack of certain genitals is... not very nice. Thanks for making their (mostly asexual) romance possible!
Comments are being removed because people are being very adamant about this being a homophobic mod, when clearly, it is not. If people want to play as a female, and still be able to romance this character, then they should be allowed to do so, without people calling them homophobic. Calling this homophobic shows a clear lack of understanding of what homophobia is.

Interesting mod, this along with others remind me of the early game where everyone could love anyone. I'm not attracted to Dorian's character so I couldn't get into this but I appreciate your efforts, regardless.
According to the game, Dorian's father wanted to use blood magic to change Dorian so he would marry a woman. According to the history that this fantasy game is based on, his reasoning is two-fold; one, he doesn't understand Dorian's preference; two, and more commonly, he wanted to ensure that the family lineage continued, i.e. Dorian needed to marry a woman to have a child-what Dorian did in his private matters were of no concern as long as it didn't affect the legacy of the family. As such, Dorian's story is about more than just him being gay, it's about him not using a woman as an incubator to have a child and lie, thus, to his father, he's jeopardizing his family line. Therefore, his father thought to bend his will to his own. Based on information in the game, even if Dorian was celibate, infertile, asexual, his father would still have tried to change him with blood magic. So Dorian is more than just a gay man who left his home because he was gay and he wanted to gay all over the lands before putting down his gayness....yea people, you get my point. There's more to the character and the situation but people aren't arguing that any mod that changes his behavior to fits his father's desires is bad, they just want to use gay as if it's a weapon to fling around. As such, trying to guilt people into not using a mod based on an incomplete argument that only focuses on one aspect of a character is ridiculous.
I love when people who aren't in the community, have only been in the community for like a day, or who are on the far-left/far-right tries to speak for most of the people in the middle and tell others what is and isn't okay. People paint minority communities as individuals who are mad over everything. We're not. It's like when people started telling whites that creating a black character, is "blackface" and offensive blacks -_-. Excuse you, we literally have police shooting us DEAD in the street-we aren't crying over a video game. We ARE, however, worried about your bastardization of words like racism, blackface, sexism, misogyny, homophobia, etc. We ARE concerned when you reduce all of us down to that which makes us a minority and don't consider any other characteristic we have.
