I understand administration point, but I totally disagree.
I've decided that old versions will remain here but I will not upload any updates.

    My apologies.
You can contact me PM if you have any suggest/questions.

I keep getting this error when I try to activate Cullen's black outfit (FBMOD, Trespasser Compatible); "archive component is missing" or something like that. Except, my .archive file is in the same folder and I have other FBmods that do not do this :( what's going oooon

Delete them and redownload them OR if you still have the zip file download just reopen them back and it should be work.

I've been having the same problem, and deleting and redownloading has not helped. Anyone have any fixes for this?

      EDIT:
Fixed! So instead of importing just the FBMOD file, instead import the whole zip file, and it should read!

This is my fave version of Cullen I love it, got the cheek scar with da2 beard and yum! Thank you for creating this. Using the DAIMM version for now as can't get Frosty 1.0.5.1 to launch game. Hopefully by the time I finished the main game I will have it figured out. But thanks, now can't stop staring when in game. <3

I've been using this mod for what seems like forever and it works wonderfully.
I know that so many requests have been posted already, but I really have to add my own as well:

    Lighter stubble and brows!
It looks a bit unnatural that his facial hair is so disparately darker compared to his normal hair color.

That's all. If you're still active, please consider my suggestion. Thank you for the lovely mod anyway!

I really like the coloring/textures of this mod. I've looked at a lot of Cullen mods and by far this is my favorite. However, I'm not seeing one that's 2 scars and default beard? Does default beard only come without the lip scar? I saw in a comment below that you hate that scar so if you have no plans to make a version with default beard with it, I'll have to figure out what I want to do, lol

I'm having a problem with the frosty version of the mod. I've got it all installed and the mod applied, but when I launch the game (even through frosty) and go to a Trespasser save, Cullen is unchanged from normal. It was the same in my Haven save, unchanged. I got the original non Trespasser version working with DAITools, but if the Trespasser version was supposed to work for the overall game DLC included, it didn't. I don't know if it's something wrong with Frosty or with the mod, but I thought I'd bring it up. I love this version of Cullen as it makes him look more like where I believe his age to be (no more than 35) but still a bit worn from his life and the lyrium problem. I'd love to get a fix so I can have him looking like this in Trespasser, but if it doesn't happen then I'll just happily keep the normal version.

Hi there -- Could someone please provide a tutorial on how to install mods via Frosty Mod Manager? I looked up videos and tried to follow ArXangel1985's instructions from the post below me, but I still can't seem to get it to work.

I have the mod activated, renamed the Patch_ModManagerMerge folder to Patch, but the game will not load/launch from the mod manager. I'm not getting any error messages, it just doesn't load. I suppose first it would be helpful to know where I should be saving the .fbmod and archive files, and where I should be extracting the Frosty Mod Manager application, third party folder, etc. I saw a youtube video and this person extracted the exe file and the rest of its contents into C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition. (Does that sound right to you?)

This looks like a fantastic mod, and I am excited to use it, so I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can offer.

(Just FYI - Just purchased the PC version of DAI, so I am fairly new to modding in this game. I have experienced no issues modding through DAI Tool Suite / Mod Manager though, however, this Frosty one has proven to be quite challenging, and so if you could break down the steps, I will forever be grateful. Ha.)

      Hello

No matter, where your mod-files or ModManager are located - just keep .fbmod & .archive together

Btw, you can use .daimod file for main game (strongly recommended) and .fbmod files for Trepasser. But NOT together in the case of the same mod!

What mods has been merged in your Patch_ModManagerMerge? Looks like incompatibility...

Your game works good with Patch_ModManagerMerge without Frosty tools?
If yes, can you try launch your game via Frosty MM without any mods? (with default Patch folder of course)
If it's works, try load only 1 .fbmod (Cullen face 1scar with DA2 style beard_Trespasser DLC, for example) - again with default Patch. It should works.

Hello again and thank you for your quick response!

Both the .fbmod and .archive files are in my mods folder -- I have my .daimods in there as well. (Not sure if it matters, but I made sure to download all DLC/Trespasser compatible mods for any companion face alterations.) Also ... when I extracted the Frosty Mod Manager rar file, I noticed that once I activated your Cullen mod, it created another mods folder, which contains only the .fbmod and .archive files for it.

These are the mods that I currently have installed: https://imgur.com/a/5A7Uc.

I just disabled all mods except for the official patch. I only have the Cullen mod activated in Frosty. I saw a Youtube video where the person copied the files in the Patch_ModManagerMerge folder into the Patch folder in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition\Update, and deleted the Patch_ModManagerMerge folder. So that's what I did, as it seemed to have worked for them. I also did a vanilla install of the game, so no mods at all, default Patch folder was already in my C: Drive, tried to launch the game through Frosty mods, but again, no luck. :(

I ran my Task Manager, and it looks like the DragonAgeInquisition.exe is running in the background, but the game just won't launch for me through Frosty. I must be doing something wrong, but I don't know what.

I believe my game does work without Frosty tools. All of the mods I installed with DAI Tool Suite work just fine.

When you said, "you can use .daimod file for main game (strongly recommended) and .fbmod files for Trepasser. But NOT together in the case of the same mod!" Does this mean I can't use a .daimod and .fbmod that alters the same thing? Like for instance, Cullen's appearance?

Sorry for my incompetence. Apparently, I'm in way over my head, and I bet it's something very simple. It always is, ha. Also, sorry this message is so long. I just want to outline everything that I'm doing, so that if you need me to make corrections, I'll know what part I did wrong.

Again, I really appreciate your assistance with this!

Hm... Obviously something wrong with your Frosty MM...

How you launch MM? With admin rights? Or maybe your antivirus blocks frosty exe. Please, add FrostyModManager folder to the list of exceptions.

Or redownload latest version Frosty tools, cause maybe you have problem with broken files or something else...
      https://github.com/GalaxyEham/FrostyToolSuite/releases/download/v1.0.3/FrostyModManager_v1.0.3.1.rar

Seriously, I'm really don't know, what else I can recommended(( Frosty works fine for me without any bugs.

I created a folder for Frosty Mod Manager in My Documents folder. From there, I right click on the exe file, run as administrator. Since your Cullen mod is already installed and activated, I just I click on Launch, it looks like it's launching, but the game doesn't start.

I just tried re-downloading Frosty Mod Manager, redid the entire process again, I checked my firewall exceptions, added Frosty Mod Managers, all still with a clean/vanilla install. So again, no other mods besides yours, and I cannot for the life of me get it to work. :(

With some perseverance, I'll figure this out, eventually. Thank you so much for trying to help me troubleshoot and most importantly, for providing this mod, which I still plan on using in my base game. I'll probably just have to disable it when I enter any DLC territories. Ha.

Oh! I am going to endorse (my first on this site) as well, because despite the issues I'm experiencing with Frosty Mod Manager, I still think this is a wonderful mod, so thank you again.

Quick update: I got it to work! Yay. I just need to figure out to add the rest of my mods via DAI Tool Suite so that it doesn't cause any issues with this one and Frosty Mod Manager. A challenge for another day though. Ha.

Anyway, I figured I should also pass on what I did in case someone else is experiencing the same problem with the game not loading in Frosty. (Brace yourself, this is going to be LOOOONG.)

Again, this is based on me not having any other mods installed, so current Patch folder is the default one that comes with the initial installation. I am also operating from the Windows 10 Home edition, which I read might be the reason why I was experiencing issues, but I'm not sure.

I should first give credit where credit is due. I definitely didn't figure this out on my own. Ha. I went onto the Nexus Mods page for Frosty Tool Suite, clicked on the Posts tab and found instructions on how to solve this problem by someone named ** belisenta **.

(Of course, download and extract all files in ArXangel1985's Cullen Trespasser compatible mod to a location where you can easily locate. I created a folder on my desktop for this.)

      1) Might be helpful to first open Task Manager, go to the Details tab, if you see DragonAgeInquisition.exe in that list, you should select it, and click end task, otherwise you might get a message in Frosty Mod Manager that the game is already running.

      2) Go to your game directory (mine looks like C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition) and delete the bcrypt.dll file and ModData folder.

      3) Before going through all of these steps, I re-downloaded Frosty Mod Manager (http://frostytoolsuitedev.gitlab.io/downloads.html) and extracted all the files into the game directory. (I didn't do that before, and maybe that was why I was having issues. I like things organized, so I created a separate folder in the game directory for the manager.) Open the ThirdParty folder, which you would have also extracted into the game directory, and delete the bcrypt.dll file.

      4) Download bcrypt.dll file over at https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectandromeda/mods/224, extract the file to your desktop. Copy it into the game directory (mine looks like C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition) and to the ThirdParty folder.

      5) Run FrostyModManager.exe; right click and run as administrator. Click launch and the game will load. This will take a few minutes, but you'll see Cullen's new face.

      ***

I was able to finally launch the game through Frosty, but then ran into another problem:

If you try to load your saved game and you receive the following message: "THIS SAVE DATA WAS CREATED WITH A NEWER VERSION OF THE GAME. PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE LATEST PATCH AND TRY AGAIN." But your game patch IS up-to-date, please follow the steps below.

      ***

      1) Go to your game directory. (Mine looks like C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age Inquisition.)

      2) Right click the ModData folder. Select Properties, check the read-only (applies to files in folder) box and click Apply and then OK. (This is so you don't have to keep deleting the ModData folder and deleting and readding the bcrypt.dll files, from steps 1-5 above, everytime you have trouble launching the game through Frosty.)

      3) Open the ModData folder, open the Update folder, open the patch folder. Open the package.mft file. (Make sure you select a program, such as notepad, so you can edit the text.)

Once you open this file, it will show 3 lines of text:

      Name patch
      Authoritative
      Version 12

Mine initially said Version 12. You want to increase the version number one digit at a time. Mine worked by updating it to Version 13. Save the file.

      4) Not sure if this is required, but I did it anyway because these were patch folders that contained a package.mft file. From your game directory, click on the Update folder, and then the Patch folder. Open the package.mft file. Again, you want to increase the version number one digit at a time. Mine worked by updating it to Version 13. Save the file.

      5) Launch the game through Frosty Mod Manager.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Otherwise, happy modding and thanks again ArXangel1985 for this wonderful mod!
