I've had a go at updating this mod using the new tools (ModManager0.58a and ModMaker1.1.0.16a) but unfortunately I couldn't make it past saving without the mod maker erroring out. We were probably lucky this mod worked at all back in the patch 5/6 days. I think too much has changed since and as injection is still (apparently) not possible... I think I am out of luck getting this working again. Sorry.
If anyone can figure out how to restore the amulets to thier *RIGHTFUL* place with the latest patches.. please feel free!

Hello Ghostifish, thanks for giving a go at trying to repair your very useful mod. I tried to merge it with new patch using ModManager 0.58 and got the same log as brains666 down below. However, I have a savegame just before opening Cole's chest in Skyhold to check after each patch if the amulet gets restored (thus confirming your mod is working; have to leave and re-enter skyhold though). Upon leaving and re-entering Skyhold, your mod still restores Cole's amulet. From what i can see from the log of brains666, these warnings might be due to the addition of the Untold Relics in this patch, the locations of which you can in http://forum.bioware.com/topic/561853-locations-for-new-untold-relics-of-thedas-accessories/ . As you can see these locations seem to overlap with some of the amulet of powers you tried to restore. (Though not all of them).
From looking at your list: desertervilla seems to be Villa Maurel and the new location of one of the Untold Relics instead of Vivienne's amulet treasuremap 2 seems to be a Solas amulet highdragon1 seems be a Sera amulet imshael is a Cole amulet tdr_treasure_venatori is a Dorian amulet in the Hissing Wastes the_oasis_frost_gear_03 is the Inquisitor amulet in the Forbidden Oasis dgn_l_110_masterlock_lootobject is the Dorian amulet in the Silent Ruins in the Western Approach wes_keep_commander_loot is the Dorian amulet is the amulet dropped from Griffon Wing Keep
Most of this is not really a problem since with the storage chest you can dupe the missing amulets anyway. However the only amulet for Dorian is the one you get at a wartable mission after a rather difficult decision in one of Iron Bull's quests. I do not know much about modding but it seems to be the lootcontainers for these amulets have been renamed in the latest patch. Maybe that can help you narrow down the current problem? Maybe others can help check if the other Amulets are being restored (the one for Cole next to him in his chest I can confirm). So it seems your mod is only partially broken.
After looking through the data with the ModMaker I stumbled upon the following; all loot containers that are giving errors (see brains666 post below) have had items added to their loot table;
dgn_l_110_masterlock_lootobject - this loot container gained an dlcblue_upgrade_sigil_healing (this seems to be a rune) wes_keep_commander_loot - this loot container gained a dlcblue_equip_acc_amulet_relic_kitty (this is one of the untold relics) the_oasis_frost_gear_03 - this loot container gained a dlcblue_upgrade_sigil_damage_cold (this seems to be a cold damage rune) tdr_treasure_venatori - this loot container gained a dlcblue_upgrade_sigil_vigor (this seems to be a rune) dal_hld_imshael - this loot container gained a dlcblue_equip_acc_amulet_blue_resourceregen (this is a amulet) dal_hld_highdragon1 - this loot container gained a dlcblue_upgrade_sigil_offense (a rune aswell) dal_290_orlesian_drapes - this loot container gained a dlcblue_upgrade_sigil_front_armor (a rune) dal_wild_treasure_map_2 - this loot container gained a dlcblue_upgrade_sigil_barrier (another rune)
These items are present since the new patch but are not in your loottables. The amulets you are trying to restore are in all other cases additions to loottables (for example non-modded itembag drops 3 items, with your mod its 4). In the cases above the non-modded and modded lists have the same number of items, so your amulets act as replacements instead of additions which is what all these have in common and what all others lack. It seems the easiest fix would be to add the new items to your mod aswell (I would give it a go but I don't know how to do so, yet)
AFAIK, adding items isn't possible. Maybe it is is now.. but last time i checked this... a good 4 or 5 patches ago, the mod tools could not be used to add items. The reason for this seemed to be that the ebxs got clipped back to its original size on merging and additions were lost. The reason the mod worked initially was because it was "unpatching" the patch, restoring the old old ebxs, which obviously fitted in the old space so to speak. If new patches/content add items to the same lootcontainer objects, then it will be difficult/maybe impossible to restore the amulet while keeping the new additions.
Honestly, i've gotten pretty bored of DAI.. and utterly fed up with EA's patching. They seem more interested in messing up the game than fixing it and each time they meddle they make it difficult for modders. I have huge respect for the devs of the mod tools. I am amazed at what they have achieved and that they are still working to do even more, but I just cannot summon the enthusiasim to work on DAI anymore. Its too restricted, its too complicated, I don't want to do it anymore. EA has sapped my will to mod.
Everyone is free to have a go at fixing my DAI mods for the latest patches and posting thier work. If you do let me know and i;ll point people from my original/broken mods to yours.

Are any of the amulets restoration still working ? or are the errors we see when merging basically showing that *all* of your edits failed to be merged ? Thanks again, and have fun with witcher 3 :-)
I'd like to take at crack at a proof-of-concept for this. However, I've no savegame anywhere close to one of the loot locations that now stopped working (I stopped playing months ago waitin for all the bugs to get fixed instead of getting worse). Xephz says a savegame is available for Cole's chest - but to my understanding that location is NOT broken
-> Does anyone have a savegame to one of the non-working amulets as listed Xephz? => If so, which? I'd then pick that one to attempt to insert the amulet item into the EBX changed by the new patch...
Which is not really what I want in this case - I would like to get the original game balancing back. If I knew how (I do not) I'd even prefer to bring back these 20 amulet AND to make it so that each of them drops only once...
IMHO, the buy-able amulets are a nice additional option to tweak chars - but not to restore the game balance...
Anyone know if Dorian's AoPs in the Western Approach and Hissing Wastes are still accessible with this mod (even with the lastest official update)?
I would hate to resort to killing off a certain band of mercenaries in order to get his only ONE amulet of power through some war table mission that barely has anything to do with him.

If some of u already past some inquisitor amulets, u can use Ehamloptiran plot flag editor and change [72CEC9CB793D6B34BB97412D314CE229] from false to true. This respawns the amulet of power in crestwood.
I've been trying to exploit the infinite amulet of power glitch at crestwood, but it doesn't seem to be working even with this mod installed. I believe its because the storage chest in crestwood has only one amulet of power this time, whereas the glitch requires the chest to have an amulet of power AND one other item to leave behind. So far, I haven't found a solution.
Thanks! Guess Bioware never will fix it (and if it was on purpose, they should remove the message that you get an amulet in the Fade, although you don't). Anyway, I'll wait until the mod manager is updated - and then this mod will be a staple in my games.

Patch 8 with the lastest mod manager, the one that works for patch 8 but the one for The Broken Window is still not there.
When the mod manager is updated and is working with the latest update I fully expect the mod to work without issue and to still be required.
