I just downloaded the Sera no rips file and it seems to be giving me an infinite loading screen when I try to load the game with it selected in mod manager.
For some reason the mod's not working for me. Or rather working, but in a strange way: http://oi60.tinypic.com/19wi1x.jpg I tried with and without other mods in case something is interfering with it, but with no luck.
Ok, yes it's not working and I think it's because I didn't add in the tint files or whatnot, been some time since I've messed with the clothes files. However, it shouldn't cause an infinite load screen since the game loads fine for me. Until I get some free time to mess with all the texture files, I'm just going to upload the old package file. It works like it's suppose to, I just tested it.
The only difference from a daimod is that you will unzip the file, open the folder, and then move the folder inside that to where you keep your mods.
Example: Unzip Sera Clothes.zip -> Open Sera Clothes folder -> Should be another Sera Clothes folder -> Move that folder to mod folder.
I seem to be having trouble with the modding tool. To everyone: You are more than welcome to change the mods into .daimod format, but if you plan to upload them please get permission from me first.
For this particular one, is there any way to change the colors of Iron Bull's default pants? Those are the most hideous things I've ever seen. Even a simple black/grey color scheme would save the day.
There is a way, I know that much. I would have to rummage through my DAI resources and find the texture files and look at them. I'm horrible at retextures and textures in general though. However, I'm not bad manipulating of them which is what my mods technically are. As I've said before though I'm currently not modding or playing DAI.
I'm having trouble with the Blackwall mod, I install it the same way I install my other mods, but it doesn't show up as an option when I open the modmanager, is there a special step I'm missing?
Can I just drop all the extracted files in the Update folder? How does the installation work exactly? It's not like I can merge these files in ModManager, right? Can I only use one at a time or something?
Sorry, I'm new to DAI modding. I'm used to the old school DA modding, back when things were easy.
