I can't get Dorian No Moustache to show up in the Mod Manager at all no matter how I extract or where I save it. :(

Some people are still linking to this mod despite the mod being obsolete. Here is permission from the original author for me to create the mod I linked.

I would've used these IF they had been done as daimods instead of already merged files.

[edit] I thought it would be relatively easy to duplicate for non-modders but it's not - although it is a simple mod.

I manage to get it to work by doing what widercampos mentioned in his/her post.

      Here are the steps:

      1) Extract the downloaded rar file which will have a Data folder and a file called package.mft
      2) Create a new folder and named it accordingly such as Dorian No Mustache
      3) Move the Data folder and package.mft into the newly created folder (in my case its the "Dorian No Mustache" folder)
      4) Place the newly created folder into the DAI Mods folder
      5) Merge the mods

      Hope this helps. Cheers

I'm having problems with the Gaspard mod. I put the Data folder and package.mft in a folder, "Gaspard No Mask," which the mod manager recognizes. When I try to merge, I get this warning (three times, if that matters):

*** Warning: da3/npcs/human/npc_t_grand_duke_gaspard not found for Gaspard no mask

    Anyone got any ideas?

I have the same problem. First with this particular mod, and later when I tried to unequip the masks using Mod Maker. Finally, I managed to find other mods for Gaspard and Briala. What's strange is that after some further meddling with Mod Maker I succeeded with Florianne, while I cannot change anything about Celene. With the same error:
Warning: da3/npcs/human/npc_t_empress_celene not found for Celene No Mask
Does anyone have an idea of what might be wrong?

I have found out how to make Dorian's No Moustache mod to work with the latest mod manager.

What you have to do, is extract the file that you receive when you download the mod with either WinRAR or 7zip into another uncompressed main file. So when you look into that main file you should see a "Data" sub-folder and the package file inside that main file. All you need to do from here is rename the main file to have .daimod at the end and place it in the same directory with all the other .daimods that you are installing. That's it. When you load the MM it should be listed with all the other detected files, simply hit merge and once it's done you should have a Dorian with no moustache in your game.

If you have any questions, just ask and I'll help.

      Sorry for the late reply...

When you extract Dorian's mod, you'll get two folders, one of which is named "Data". Move the Data folder into the main folder for the mod ("Dorian - No Moustache-199-0-0-1") and the DAI Mod Manager will merge it normally. It runs for me without any problems.

I enjoy the Gaspard no mask mod, It only fits his character better since he tells you himself that he dispises the game. Why then would he wear a mask and suggest participation in it then. endorsed.

Is there any way to make this work with the ModMaker? The Mod Manager they say to use in the description doesn't work anymore

Has anyone got this mod to work for Dorian? it doesn't even show up when I browse for it. I've put it in its own folder and still nothing.

I found the problem! The program is searching for the files cas.cat and cas_01.cas in the wrong folder, if you look in the 'Dorian - No Moustache-199-0-0-1' folder, you will find those files right there under the 'Data' folder. The program is looking for them in the Data folder, so just move those two files to the 'Data' folder and it should merge with no problems.
