A pity, but the MOD does not work for me. The game either crashes, freezes or no longer shows the armor and extensions can not be "forged". I tried all 3 files and no one does it. Unfortunately, because I like the MOD in the view very well.
I also haven't tested these against Trespasser, and I hear retexes commonly have compatibility issues during the Trespasser mission, if you're loading from there.
there is a host of light/medium tinting mods to pmake tasets, the flairs, pj pieces, etc tintable, like this one: http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonageinquisition/mods/795/?
I have a feeling they conflict which stinks because i looooathe the gold metal so much.
OH ok I see what you mean. Yeah, it'd definitely conflict with that because they both modify the coat-related assets, so one or the other would have to be overwritten in the merge process. I guess the manager puts precedence on the last-listed, so putting this after would make it so the coat component of the other mod gets overwritten instead.
The good news is, it only overrides the metal tint, so you can keep the ability to tint the pj/outerwear from those mods and use yours to tint the metal. I've tested the pure silver and tintable in this matter, and while the tint isn't as strong with some metals, like the volcanic arrum, it works, and on ALL of the gloves that have the metal filigree. I'm using the tier one scout gloves, and was able to tint the metal bands to any color with this. So it works on non-prowler armors which is great. No more icky gold metal!!!
Thank you for stress-testing this, haha! I completely forgot the tier one gloves even have filigree on them. The "x coat y" upgrades are all on the same texture in the game files, so other than that it shouldn't conflict with anything else on the other mod.
(Metal tinting is handled kinda weirdly in this game--the tint map has the fabric and leather tints on it, but the metal tints are handled with the combination of the tint map AND the specular map. So, parts of the spec map that are blue are metal-tinted... UNLESS the corresponding bits on the tint map are also green--in which case it'll show up metal, but not tinted. Green on the tint map ALSO handles "this is where leather tint goes", so, that's a thing. It took me a ton of trial and error to get all that figured out proper, haha.)
Could you add a version with both the fur and the filigree? I like the furry look, but adore what you've done with this mod. I think it'd look really cool if the filigree covered the upper shoulder sections, starting from the neck area (where you already have filigree) then ends where the fur begins.
The previously gold bits are all silver on the silver version, yes!
I'm not currently taking requests outside of color variations, sorry! But I have been considering releasing the tiling filigree pattern separately for other people to play with, if you'd like to give it a go yourself?

By renaming the files to come after the tint mods, it fixes the conflict and loads as it should, with the metal being tinted.
Thank you so much for making this.
