Hey all! I wanted to give a big thank you to everyone that has supported me. It took some time, but I'm finally employed full-time. Unfortunately, I won't be making any more mods for DAI, but I do look forward to modding the next Dragon Age. Hope to see some of you then.
And to those of you having issues getting my mods to work, try the following:
Go your game folder, where Dragon Age Inquisition is installed. One way to get there is to right-click on the game's shortcut icon (the one you click to launch the game), click on 'Properties' and then click on 'Open File Location.' When there, look for the 'Update' folder. Inside that folder is another folder called 'Patch.' Within the 'Patch' folder is a file called 'package.' Right-click that file and open it with Notepad. Where it says 'Version 11,' you change that to 'Version 12.' Save and close. You should now be able to run mods that require 'Patch 12.'
Would it be possible to have a permanent wisp of the fallen? I don't care if only one wisp or two remains, well of course having a balance damage to match its infinity. Thanks. Great mod and got no problems
I merged together Abilities Revamped - Missile Barrage (50) and Bugs be Gone conflict.
You need the latest Frosty Mod Manager Alpha 2 to install it. Now you've got additional damage for the 2nd upgrade and more speed for the projectiles.
Edit. New version. For some reason Bugs be Gone had (Stat_Damage_Bonus_Fire 100) but I am not sure that this number is an actual percentage or not. Instead I added Stat_DamageMultiplyer, like in Winter's Grasp Upgrade(it has 10 obviously, because it gives 1000 damage). I left fbproject inside. My version: 125% damage, 2nd upgrade 200% damage. If you want to go back vanilla: DesignerProperties, 1, Value, DefaultProvider, ConstValue (0,66). 2nd upgrade: Actions, 1, ProjectData, Impact, DamageCalculationModifiers, 0, Amount, DefaultValue (1)
You may not read this, but could you elaborate a bit more on the process? I'm not asking much, just simple step-by-step on how to change ability damage.
Approximately 50-60 hours into my playthrough, the Winter tree disappeared for all mages, though I still have the winter tree abilities that I already obtained. Restarting fixed this for me.
Well, the mod author "jerrybullet" haven't worked on it since 2016. So that might be the main issue, many mods on the site are dead because they stopped updating the mods before the DLC's and latest patches were out, was thinking of downloading this myself since I liked it so much last time, but guess I will not.
Hey thanks! Came back to the game after about a year and this is the first mod I thought to install. I made a new character, got to that first fight and had two spells, a lightning and a fire. Lightning works fine, but the fire spell crashes my game. Any idea what this could be from? (Game version is 12)

My guess is that the above two people either installed the mod incorrectly or have a mod conflict.
Bugs be gone has a conflict with this mod. It appears to be something to do with damage modifiers not working in the default game file?
