Hey all! I wanted to give a big thank you to everyone that has supported me. It took some time, but I'm finally employed full-time. Unfortunately, I won't be making any more mods for DAI, but I do look forward to modding the next Dragon Age. Hope to see some of you then.
And to those of you having issues getting my mods to work, try the following:
Go your game folder, where Dragon Age Inquisition is installed. One way to get there is to right-click on the game's shortcut icon (the one you click to launch the game), click on 'Properties' and then click on 'Open File Location.' When there, look for the 'Update' folder. Inside that folder is another folder called 'Patch.' Within the 'Patch' folder is a file called 'package.' Right-click that file and open it with Notepad. Where it says 'Version 11,' you change that to 'Version 12.' Save and close. You should now be able to run mods that require 'Patch 12.'
Does this have a incompatibility with other craft mods? and does this affect also Enable All Ability Upgrade skill tree mod when trying to reset your abilities?
I know this is really late, but for anyone else that needs it, this mod definitely conflicts with the free shop items (think its called the discount mod) and seggrich (and its associated new game plus).
It's a little late still any help is appreciated. I can't seem to check the mod in DAI Mod Manager's list for Merge. Anything to be done about it? And I tried the mod with Frosty and it's not showing up in the stores.
I just found out that in the game there is a max to how many skill points a character can have. The max that I hit is a hard cap of 100. So you can't spend 110 skill points at all. Only 100 can go on someone. I was wondering 2 things, if someone can do a Frosty version of this and also have it remove the hard limit. Or perhaps change the 100 to something like 10,000 so no one has to worry about it.
For those asking about a Frosty version, the Mod Manager file works perfectly in Frosty for me. It will give you the typical warning that the mod isn't made for the current game patch version (always says that when you install Mod Manager files in Frosty) but Seggrit had an infinite supply of amulet's for me just the same. I'm not sure if the idea was that an amulet bought this way was supposed to be infinitely usable, because the amulets I'm buying are definitely expended after use, but there is a limitless supply at the shop and my companions got their skill points so it doesn't matter. I'm not seeing any conflicts or bugs, but I uninstalled it after buying as many as I wanted for everyone just in case. If like me you just want everyone to have the same number of skill points no matter their race (Humans and Cole get a bonus skill point in case you don't know), no matter how many amulets you find for them, and don't want to wait until you get to Skyhold to use the storage glitch, this seems to be a good option.
This works nicely. I use the DAI Mod manager only and DAI files. There are shop haven mods that can conflict with this one so be careful to read the warning from the DAI mod manager.
