Love it! Makes playing with the CC so much easier <33
That said, after uninstalling this mod the intro won't play at all. I've tried repairing and fully uninstalling/reinstalling the game, but no dice. Disregard, I was looking in the wrong folder, lol. Works like a charm!
Thanks for the mod! One question. Dragon Age Wiki says that Hawke’s personality (humorous, aggressive etc.) will be defined during the first answer you give your sibling in the intro fight. Where now?
The way I understand it from looking at the files, every dialogue option chosen is counted towards determining Hawke's personality. If the wiki is right, the first conversation of each act is just more heavily weighted than normal dialogue choices. So, there's enough dialogue in the prologue that it should settle in on its own.
What the wiki means is that every choice sets affects your personality, but the first one sets it , because there is nothing to compare against. With this mod this is just shifted to the first dialogue with the family. Think of it this way, each choice adds a point in that personality, however at the beginning all of them are at 0, so the first one to add something will be the one you have until other personality overcomes it.
Mod conflicts with the other mods that changed leveling up (such as give more talent points etc) and changing tactics mods (not 100% sure). In this way hero becomes 1st lvl each time you load the game and skills are reset (items dissapeared too). Also pls keep (return) Varric`s intro from the very beginning of the game - his story became uncomplete.
Ah okay I see where the problem is with the skills and items. It's a silly oversight on my part.
The skills/items resetting should only happen if you save and reload in the blightlands. If you play through to Kirkwall before reloading (or uninstall the mod before loading) there shouldn't be any issues.
Unfortunately I don't have time to fix anything with this mod at the moment. If you can't use it as-is I linked an alternative in the description and you can try that.
Overall it`s a pretty descent mod: first time I played I was wondering about why you pick Hawke`s class and battle intro begins - you played as Hawke with default appearence. How so? I just pick class - why go straight to battle? I want to start create my own Hawke and just play further (like this was in Origins). I think is the best recepie for starting new game is: class > creating new character > Varric`s tale without fancy intro (remove Cas`s comment about intro part; keep "we need the champion...") > new game begins.
thank you! i like the intro, but it gets to be a chore on replays. also, is it just wishful thinking on my part, or does the hawke in your pic have more muscle tone than default hawke?
I feel like swapping lady hawke's textures for this outfit with dude hawke's beefier version is definitely the sort of thing I would do, but not actually a thing I have done. So afaik it's just vanilla.
