    So pretty! I would love to be able to set this as her armor full time!

      Yeah, I'd love to be able to do that, too!

    I think I may have figured out why the scarf one doesn't work with any Merrill A retextures - I was looking in the files to see if I could make it Merrill's outfit for the entire game and I discovered that there're a set of textures - most likely the scarf - that affect both Merrill A and Merrill B. (And, if you're rocking a mod which gives Merrill a different looking version of B for A, your scarf will appear on it)

    The game miiiiight be registering the Merrill A textures as a mod for it, overriding any other Merrill A outfit mods.

      After extracting the ERF, I can confirm that this mod includes textures for the pre-romance outfit, which overrites any other textures. Pity. The retex of the romanced outfit looks nice.

      EDIT: And it contains some enchanter robe textures

    Great mod. Kudos for having got rid of that chainmail texture slapped on Merrill's neck, it drove me nuts.

    This is amazing! Thank you so much for this mod! I love Merrill to pieces and this armour is truly awesome. Particularly with the scarf.

    Actually the scarf version of this mod doesn't seem to play nice with any recolors of Merril's pre-romance outfit. :c No matter what mod I use that changes only pre-romance, having this mod ingame automatically reverts her pre-romance armor back to default.

    I think your post-romance scarf-option conflicts with lustrianna's sexy Merril A armor; when I put both in my override folder, Merril gets put in her default outfit A, but removing your scarf file allows Lustrianna's outfit to work. And I do have the required scarf mesh file.

    @honestRope
    Thanks for the reply. It's already great as it is, the skinny neck is a small price to pay, but I'll definitely keep tracking the file for future updates. Thanks again for a great retexture.

    @Kindo: You actually can make some headway with the giraffe neck issue just with retexturing; part of the problem is that the mesh is exactly the width of her neck, rather than wider, so since you expect the chainmail to have some thickness, it makes it look like her neck is that much skinnier. Retexturing everything above the collar to look like skin instead of chainmail helps a lot.

    I'm still working on getting it to look right, though; matching skin to skin is really hard, that's why most meshes have a collar. :/ I'll post it as an alternative retex when I'm done, but it may be a while.

    I dressed Merril up and she looks like an elven princess-warrior. She's very content and loves the colours very much .

    Thank you! Her outfit is really beautiful now .

    It looks wonderful! The best modded secondary outfit for Merrill, that I've seen. Thanks for sharing it with us.

    One thing that's always bothered me about her secondary outfit - aside from the glaringly whiteness of it, as you mentioned - is that her neck becomes both extremely long, and extremely thin, for some reason; so I still generally prefer her primary outfit, most of the time. I'm not sure how the neck can be fixed, if we want to go down that route. Re-texturing is one thing, but re-modelling the armour itself might be more complicated. Still, I'll be using this mod, that's for sure. Thanks again.
