While I love the Aeducan "robes", it clashes with the background plot. You're the third in line for the throne and are about to be formally introduced as Orzammers new Commander. For that you wear ancient Aeducan armor. The robes practically scream "I'm unarmoured, backstab me!" Same for yor siblings. The next King wouldn't want to wear something like that. Not that it helped him though. I generally spawn them after the jail thing.
There is for sure a lot of work in this mod ... but .. it calls for it. Terry Pratchett introduced the insulting term "lawn ornament" (Hortus decorus) for dwarves into his books. Looking at this garment it now is obvious .. the "lawn ornament" can wear artificial lawn
