    v1.2 is available now!
This update fixes an issue with the chest plate normal map and adds a relief effect to the scales that was missing in the previous versions.

Also added and alternate black & silver recolor that matches Grey Warden B textures by LapisLazzuli.

Aesthetically I prefer Duncan wearing heavy armor like the one the Grey Wardens of Ferelden mod gives him, it makes him look special, imposing and like a leader, but I can't argue with the established lore: he's canonically a rogue and this is the kind of armor they wear. Thanks.

And i have this problem where duncan´s blades look different they dont looke like the ones added in GWoF nor the vanilla ones, does anyone else has had this problem? again i now it maybe the wrong place to ask but i havent found a way :(

Can you design special armor for Riordan?

I can confirm that it works marvelously with tmp7704's warden garments mod. My city elf never looked so good. Sadly it only works for males.

Is it normal that I can't get some of the files to work? The file named pm_bdy_duna_0n.dds works in game no problem but the two other ones don't show up whatsoever. I deleted the files from Grey Wardens of Ferelden and put it in my override file but it's still not working.

Any help would be appreciated since I'm also having this problem with another mod with the same type of file.

Hey, sorry for the late reply, I haven't been around here in a while.

I think you are a bit confused with all this. My mod isn't a complete armor with 3D meshes and all, it's just a retexture of an armor that's already available in the game, so it only contains .dds files, which is a type of image format commonly used in video games.

There's 3 in total, 2 diffuse textures (1 for high detail and 1 for low detail, they add the color and general appearance of the armor) and 1 normal map (adds a 3D illusion effect to the surface so it doesn't look so flat). The 3 override textures of Duncan's actual armor. If it looks like in the photos from close and far it means they're working

I eventually figured it out! Sorry for the confusion, I was, at the time, using JB3Textures which I had to put your mod in so it would then show up in-game properly.

Hey, where exactly did you put the Duncan armor retexture folder inside the JB3 folder? Like what is the file path? Also, are those files from the Grey Wardens mods still needing to be deleted or should I restore those files after all? Thank you in advance! This has been driving me up a wall!

I'm personally not using JB3 Textures anymore since it was such a hassle. Instead, I put Duncan's armour inside of the "8. Custom" folder in Improved Atmosphere and it's worked for me ever since!

How can I make the weapons look like the GWoF ones as shown on the pictures? They have the vanilla style in my game. I use IA 1.3 and GWoF and  I have deleted all utc files for Duncan.

I think you need to change his weapons in his UTC files to the Warden Dagger and Warden Longsword instead of ex: Duncan's Dagger or Duncan's Longsword.

Before I download this beautiful mod, I had a question: In the description part of the GWoF mod, it says that the Genlock Necromancer in RtO drops Duncan's GW Commander armor. Will these two mods be compatible??

It's been a long time since I've played, I don't remember it, sorry.
AFAIK only Duncan can wear his original armor. If you want your character to have it you'll need an aditional mod that isn't GWoF, so I guess that the armor that the Genlock drops is the Wanden Commander armor from GWoF.

Alright, I'll keep an eye on it the next time I do RTO. I'll let you know!!

Just finished my return to Ostagar play through and the genlock dropped a rogue version from GWoF.

Love this armor for Duncan.  So beautifully done.  Thank you!

Suggestion, if you ever return to this mod: Bundle Duncan's vanilla UTC files with your textures, so people can install this on top of Grey Wardens of Ferelden without having to remove anything.

    Other than that: Thanks buckets!

The files that need to be removed are only those that put Duncan on GWoF armor. I don't see how deleting some files that won't be used is an issue?
If I pack the textures with his UTC files and people don't remove the ones that come with GWoF they will conflict and that might cause problems, so I'd rather avoid that.

It looks amazing and thank you so much for adding the Texture Pack B version! I love the GWoF mod as well but I have to agree that I prefer the original style to the massive armor in GWoF and this retexture to me is the perfect compromise. Well done!

For anyone looking for the complete Duncan PC experience I have some stuff I'd like to recommend to use alongside this retexture:

    1. Original Duncan Armor - https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/618 (Adds Duncan's armor to the PC's inventory HUMAN MALE ONLY)
    2. Duncan Face for PC - https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/128 (Duncan original head morph for PC REQUIRES DA TOOLSET)
    3. Redefine Your Hero Voice - https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/1763 (Allows you to change your PC's voice through the use of the console to Duncan's Voice)

I never liked the idea of putting Duncan in a full armor suit and this mod is the best to give a great balance
between Duncan's unique armor and DA 2 Grey Warden uniforms.
Thank you so much for this!
