Wow, finally! Great work! Could you do the same for Sigrun?

I think it's hilarious the warden and Anders just do it right on the keep floor! Like, do you want to go somewhere more private? Nope! Here's fine! During the sex scene one of the merchants was in the background and looked over at us like :/

It's weird, I know. But since you can't open Awakening areas in Toolset, there's no way to place the actors in a better place.

Maybe a room at the tavern?

LMAO I had the exact same thought. I haven't used this one yet...I'm about to, however. I noticed they're in the middle of the throne room in the keep I was like wow no shame! Ohh ohh but I have to create a new warden for this one, my Cousland is married to Alistair, and my Dalish elf married Zevran :p

Hello! :) Firstly, can I say what an amazing mod this is? I could easily see this in the vanilla game, it was very well put together. :) However, it seems that I've run into a wee problem. I recently had to uninstall several Microsoft visual c++ redistribute packages due to a corrupted file on my computer, and I had believed I had gotten them all back, until I attempted to reinstall this fabulous mod. I was met with an error in the nexus mod manager. Testing with other mods, mostly dealing with textures or added scripts, the same error occurred. The whole problem is clearly my fault, but I was hoping that maybe some kind soul might be able to inform me of what package I could be missing? (It's not just Dragon Age either, it's my Skyrim/Dark Souls mods as well) Thank you very much for any help given!

( A quick note: A few of the mods that were having the "problem with install" were: Hairstyle day, KS Hair, and this mod. But I'm certain it is no fault of the mod authors.)

I don't know much about this, really. The only thing I can think of, is that the missing package affects the NMM software, but I don't see how this could affect mods. Have you tried simply unzipping the contents of the mods into the packages/override folder of your My Documents/Bioware directory? As long as the game runs correctly and the mods are in the proper folder, they should work. You should try this first; if the mods are working, then the problem is with NMM and it would be better to contact the developers of the program. If the mods don't work, then it could be something related to the scripts (but texture mods don't usually include scripts, so it's weird).

It's also possible that NMM thinks that there are incompatibilities between mods. The Anders mod uses a tool called EventManager. If you have other mods which also use this tool and include it in their folders, NMM may think that they're incompatible (they're not, really, but the program will think so). The comment right below this one deals with this same problem, which another user had.

Tried unzipping and putting them into override. Fixed the problem immediately, thank you so much!

I love your Alistair Male Romance + Marriage and I love Anders too, but when I wanted to install both your Alistair mod and this, ModManager said that they were incompatible Would this mode work if I deleted Alistair Origins mod and installed Alistair Awakening version after playing the main game? Related: Can we romance Anders after romancing someone in Origins?

It's really weird that you're getting that incompatibility message. None of the files in the Anders mod have anything to do with my other mod, not even with Origins files, so it's impossible they conflict. I have them both in the override folder without problem.

If anything, it's possible that ModManager believes there's an incompatibility because both mods include an eventmanager script and m2da_eventmanager.GDA. These two files belong to a modder's tool, and are identical in both mods, so there's no real incompatibility. You only need one copy of the tool in your override folder, however, so you could delete either one of them (but again, it's not really necessary).

The Anders mod will work with both Alistair Origin and Alistair Awakening mods, and you can romance Anders no matter whom you romanced in Origins.

Ah thanks for the quick reply<3 I deleted the files you said from Anders' Mini Romance because that warning was really bugging me and it worked!

Ooh, I'll download this! If you ever make an update, you might want to edit this line if you want:
'I think that you've been lonely for all too long. And so I have.' to '...And so have I.' to make it sound more correct.

After the romance dialogue, do you get some ambient line from Anders, like "Shall we move on?", "No rest for the wicked" or "Point the way, fearless leader"? If you do, the mod is working properly, it's just that Awakening companions don't talk much and he may not have anything more to say at that point of the relationship.

If you don't get these ambient lines, check the files in the mod and make sure they downloaded properly. You should have three .GDA files: engineevents_andersdialogue, eventmanager_andersdialogue and m2da_eventmanager. Also an .ncs file called eventmanager. Open the file "eventmanager_andersdialogue" with GDApp (here: http://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage/mods/214/?) and check that the number in the last row is a 2 and not a 0. If you're still having issues, change this number to 1 (this tells the event handler to play the original dialogue before my custom one, instead of after). Save the file with the .GDA extension if you edited something.

Tell me if the problem persists.

I am not sure, whether my request would be out of topic. (Excuse me, please, in case!):

Since I am writing other step-by-step instructions for Dragon Age by myself, I know how much effort you would have to expend. So thank you so much for your kind offer!

I am looking for a possibility to have Alistair in Awakening into the party - with romance options, of course! Do you think, that your planned tutorial and your b2b-files, which you offered so kindful, would be useful for this purpose?

I love this. I've been wanting to fully romance Anders from the first. What they have in DA2 is insulting to say the least.

I would have liked to make more romance options, even one with Oghren (that would have been hilarious). But working with Awakening resources is quite tiresome and time-consuming. However, if someone is willing to make his/her own mod, I don't mind writing a step by step tutorial and providing the needed b2b files as base.
